Pretty much, yes. Everyone is on to your schtick. You pop off about how you know we are getting so and so and if it works you start with the "look at me" routine and if he goes elsewhere you just make up some excuse (i.e. I was just trolling the leghumpers guys. I knew all along we weren't getting him). It's just really annoying. Feel free to make all the guesses you want, but you can drop the inside info charade.

So Rivals put his statline up on an article

quote:

Jackson recorded 96 tackles as senior, 69 of which were solos, 10 were sacks and 52 of the tackles were for a loss. He also forced seven fumbles and recovered three.

52 TFL? Can't be real

After watching his hudl I believe it. He lived in the backfield and was constantly blowing up zone reads at the mesh point.

Is he undersized, or can he compete as a true frosh?

Being an EE obviously helps... but it still takes months to up for the physical challenge

With college level S&C for spring, summer and fall, he may be able to get big enough to be a valuable rotational piece.

He won't start given potentially Monty Adams, Dontavius Russell and Devaroe Lawrence (who improved 2nd half last season)

He'll be in the rotation at least, talent wise he may be the best DT we have next year. Unless Monty comes back.

If I made #StateOfAuburn shirt with Georgia instead of Alabama, do you think I could clear fair use restrictions? You know, parody and stuff?

I'd buy one

Worst AU will do is say "hey, stop making that shirt"

The Trooper Towels guy sold 10,000+ of those things before AU asked him to stop. I think he made $3.50 of each one (he was a neighbor of one of my friends)

So does this mean that the rumors of our demise as a program have been greatly exaggerated??

Why can't you just give me credit, or suck my balls?

No one knows. Malzahn doesn't work day-to-day. So we have to wait at least a week before we get updates.

It could be. Derrick Brown claims more than that I believe.

Jacksons Teammate LB Mbem-Bosse pushed his announcement date back this morning. AU was once thought to be the leader and then we completely stopped recruiting him. Not sure if LT has reached out to him since Boom left but Mbem-Bosse released a top 5 this morning when he pushed his announcement back and we were still in it.

Once you sign a FA, you get unrestricted communications with a recruit and can give them some permitted items. In the dead period for example, you will be hammered if the ends up not at your school
Let's be real. The NCAA is not going to monitor electronic or social media contact, even through the dead period. That's why they rel;axed the rules so much & 1 contact generated by school per week in the dead period is no longer in the rule book manual.

I think we can scrape together a reasonable LB corps from the following.

Tre Williams
Darrell Williams
Deshaun Davis
Javy Mitchell
Jeff Holland
Richard McBryde
Jordan Colbert (6'3 ~215? he grows into LB)
You forgot Monty Atkinson who some around the complex have said has the best LB instincts on roster.

All 3 are solid
A-Will may become solid but there has been little evidence of that yet.
