I see why they act like they don't care because it opens a spot for Humphrey.. but to act like they didn't lose a great CB and someone with as much potential as any CB in the 2014 class is a lie.

Humphrey was not at risk for losing his spot. Ever.
It opens up a spot for someone but it isn't Humphrey.

We have never had success stopping the pass since Chizik took over and now Malzahn. Losing a guy like Roberts to us has to hurt because him and Nick Ruffin both are guys that clearly will improve our pass D. Losing a guy hurts, losing a guy who will help your rivals weakness is worse

I think they genuinely didn't want him but we should definitely be excited about getting him. We desperately need some CBs and this guy is a baller.

It's really hard to actually bother Bama fans when it comes down to recruiting...they have an embarrassment of riches

THIS!!!

As much as we hate it Bama isn't gonna be upset about losing one 4 star CB.

They let him commit early because they clearly wanted him and he can ball. That being said, not like he isn't easily replaceable because they are in it for so many top tier DBs. Doubt the bama staff are happy about this.

We ballin though

Bama wants to replace Roberts with Tabor and Raekwon for SDH

Everyone wins in this scenario

That spot was there regardless. Their thinking is the spot opens for Tabor, definitely not a concrete take. The same for SDH for McMillan.

It just seems odd to be excited losing top talent when the higher takes are anything but solid.

Bama has also turned the heat way up for Evans so don't rag them too hard about taking Stphens

Evans for now isn't going to Bama. If they crush us in the IB that could change though.

Evans is a weird case. I have heard more stories and info about him than anyone else yet not a single person has the first clue where he stands that I have talked to. I just want him bad

Gut feeling is he goes elsewhere. It has always seemed like he has been looking for reasons not to come to Auburn. His statements and actions have been more pro-Auburn lately though

After the UGA game, Evans said this is as high as he's ever been on Auburn. Also, both sites are saying they feel Auburn leads for him now. Our season has put us in great position to sign him and personally, I'll be kinda shocked if he goes elsewhere at this point

I try not to listen to recruits directly after a big win...emotional high and whatnot. Our overall season does seem like it has impacted Evans though. Winning isn't everything, but it's definitely something

Exactly. There's a reason why Rashaan has kept putting off his announcement. He wanted to see if Auburn could win.

What's the deal with SDH and Bessent? Are they Lil Flip as well?
