Not to be a negabarner but let's not act like our QB problem is over. We have two proven below average SEC QBs, two unproven QBs and two guys that haven't even signed yet. Our problem isn't over but at least we have hope now.

Agreed. Maybe our slogan should be To Be The Man....You have to complete a pass.

And our main guy (from the looks of it) was recruited orginally as a CB.

Welcome to all but about 10 teams in the country that don't have stud returning QBs.

Having as much talent as we have absolutely makes our problem more likely solvable.

If a team has a quality starter, they're in better position than us. It doesn't have to be a stud. Most teams usually have a quality backup that's played in clean up time. They at least have something. We have nothing that's proven yet.

How is playing in clean up time proving anything? No one who doesn't have anyone proven returning knows what they've got until they go out and prove it against top competition. With all due respect to what we've had since Cam and what we've got with JJ, SW and TQ, it's hard to argue that we don't have better options for the future now.

Any playing time in college > no playing time in college.

We could have 4 very good QBs coming in. We could have 4 very bad QBs coming in. We don't know yet. Other teams have an idea what they have on their roster. Therefore right now, their QB situation is better.

So at least this time next year Auburn will be in a better QB situation than UGA, Bama, and LSU...cause thier backups are not gonna play this year.

Wilson proved he was pretty competent against us in 2010 in back up role.

Not enough to have more experience than our QB.

I see Gus making a choice and sticking with it. Jennings, Rettig, and Bateman wont have very much gametime if any.

no one said exactly those words. But if you can't see that's what everyone was saying, then I can't help you.

You mean helping you not to read too much into some positive posts towards top evaluated QB's coming in. I guess I should take the online course of how to over analyze posts on a message board. Any suggestions on who offers the best one?
