Don't know if this has been posted or not but it's official, Jason Smith is off to Fork Union and will return to Auburn in Decemember. He is "up to" 178lbs.

@JHokanson: 2014 West Forsyth (Ga.) center, Andrew Marshall, impresses at #Auburn's camp. Maybe one to watch out for. LINK @Rivals

Backup plan for Casher? Sounds like he doesn't want to come if Casher is from the little blurb I can read.

A 6-6 340 center?... Good lord. The offers from schools like duke and wake are a good sign though. Intelligence at that position is important.

What is the deal with him? He has fallen off the map in terms of news. If he was going Bama, why hasn't he just committed yet?

Hopefully we pull him

We offered 14' LB Kyle Sitzler a preferred walk on spot today. Not sure what that means exactly but he would play the Jay Prosch H-back role. Pretty big kid wouldn't mind having him as a walk on, but he does hold some offers from some small schools.

The last I heard of him 247 was saying he was an Auburn lean at the moment. That was at least a couple weeks ago though.

From my understanding, a preferred walk on is a walk on that is recruited. I'm not sure if there's limits or not on those.

Essentially means he is being recruited and wanted by the staff but will not get a scholarship offer. He would be expected to see playing time and assuming he is a contributor would be first in line to earn a scholarship offer. Similar to Blake Burgess before he earned a scholarship

Garrett Harper, the WR who blocked the punt in the Chick Fil A bowl was also a preferred walk on

We definitely need someone to fill the prosche/ eric smith role. This offense uses a lead blocker a good bit.

Yup, a few days ago Lashlee or Gus (can't remember) said Dismukes and Prosch were the 2 most important roles on the offense
