honestly, frick this dumbass dude. He's a damn look at me headcase.
My source has heard nothing on the matter and has no idea what is going on, FWIW. More to come later.

I guess our offense has completely turned him off. Probably gonna be that way for our WR recruiting until we start slinging it around.

How dare somebody wait on an offer from his dream school and hesitate going to a school that's throwing around 12 times a game. What's he thinking?

I think some of y'all need to calm down. He's said several times that he doesn't plan to sign until January. Just because he's not signing tomorrow doesn't mean he's fricking with us.

If he cannot make his mind up on what he wants to do, I would rather Auburn not even get him, TBH. He is a headache, no matter how talented he is, and we really do not need that kind of cancer in the locker room (Terrell Owens, Dez Bryant, etc)... If he could come in and do what the coaches say, great, but his head games have this all off to a bad start.
I have said that a JUCO receiver, no matter how good, just isn't a priority in my opinion. If we don't get him, I will actually be a bit relieved that we wouldn't be using a scholarship on a guy that wants to go pro next year and just make one more person we have to replace after next season.

Cam Newton worked out pretty well, If he could even have a Darvin Adams impact I would be happy with it. We have a legit chance to make the playoffs next year and this guy could significantly help that.

But he waited an extra month to make his decision...

That would be awful......
Williams could be playing with fire though. This staff doesn't like to be dicked around with.

As an Auburn coach, you can't let yourself get drug around by the pecker waiting on this kid.
Honestly that'd be sub-par parenting for not preparing your kid better for the situation at hand. Good parenting would allow him multiple options should this type of "dream crushing" situation arise.

absolutely i'll cheer for him. But i won't be shocked if he acts like Terrell Owens and gets himself booted off the team for a "me" attitude that he has displayed throughout his recruitment.

In 2010, a quarterback is what we needed to bring the team to another level and win the championship. While it is possible that a receiver would make a drastic difference next year, I also think that our receivers got better as the year went on and the off-season working with our quarterbacks will get all of them in sync. I just don't think a JUCO receiver is a high priority with the returning receiver corp we have, I would rather see them take another high school kid that could work out for 3 years with Auburn instead of a 1 and done.

Calm down boys. Less arguing and more

Don't see how a recruitment of a player should be anything but what's best for the recruit. I mean when my future son is the next Cam Newton, it is going to be about what's best for his future and getting him to the league. While a commitment should be a commitment, DQ has no allegiance to Auburn just like if he all the sudden lost speed or something and wasn't elite Auburn doesn't have to take him. He has stuck with us so far despite passing like a triple option team.
I think he may end up a head case because he flip flops like John Kerry about this. I don't think it will be because he is trying to maximize the one shot to not grow up and live in the ghetto of LA

He either comes to AU or not. Seems silly to melt down about it. This is why I only follow recruiting very loosely.

How are they being drug around? If we get him great, if we don't then no big deal we have plenty of WRs.

He has a very good backup option. What do you think we are? He can wait to see if LSU changes their mind and if they don't then he signs with Auburn. I don't see why you have such a problem with this kid.

Judging by your anger on him not signing with AU during your strict time-frame, I'd say you're full of shite and don't really mean that.

Do we know if Moncrief be at this announcement/signing thing tomorrow?

From AUC:

I spoke with someone close to Lambert's recruitment not long ago. They expect Lambert to eventually flip to Auburn. This will be one to watch closely as other sources believe that Lambert could stick with the Vols.
