We'll have Owens, Lawson, Daniel, Delanie, and Harrell all ahead of Thornton on the depth chart when he gets here. Wouldn't be shocked to see him redshirt.
That said, if Daniel moves to DT and/or Thornton can outperform Delanie and Harrell (both scenarios seem plausible), he could have an impact next year like Lemonier did his first year.

Thornton will need weight for sure. He does a very good job though using his length to get seperation from linemen. He is purely a speed rusher ATP. I think we all see why Sims is having trouble landing somewhere. He will end up a take for whoever has an open spot after missing on someone else IMO.
