No doubt. He might feel differently however.
TCU and TAMU certainly fit the 'Midwest' vibe but Auburn has literally everything else going for it. I think the swing is in our favor for now, but them having the last visit doesn't help things.
I certainly hope we snag him, he's a beast.

There was a TCU girl with a strapless sun dress that was jumping up and down after a TCU touchdown. Just as the camera zoomed in on her on the jumbotron, she had a wardrobe malfunction...

This isn't a damn book club, we want pictures not text.

JHoke had a very solid explanation IMO about committable vs non committable offers
I am copy and pasting IDGAF. JHoke if you read this, it makes you look good bud

Please shed some light on an offer vs a committable offer?
The way recruiting works now, an "offer" now days is basically a foot in the door. It's a way to tell the prospect you are interested and you think they can play for your program, but you haven't done all the necessary homework and don't have a personal enough relationship with the prospect to extend an offer they could 100 percent commit to, that's where the term "committable offer" comes in. That term means the program has done their due diligence in building a relationship, checking out the prospect's grades, or the prospect is simply so elite that they can bypass the usual steps, and the prospect could commit and the commitment would be accepted by the head coach. These days, you generally "offer" a prospect with stipulations such as further evaluation of grades, or the "offer" is good dependent on you completing these three criteria as your senior season progresses. That gives a program wiggle room to pull back from the "offer" later on if the prospect doesn't develop as expected. Hope that made sense. - See more at: LINK

This will probably get lost in this thread given the current hijackery but from a guy who knows Andrew Williams' girlfriend
quote:
Alright, update from his gf. She says he is torn between Clemson and auburn right now. She has told him she wants him to go to auburn so she can come to the games. She also said Tennessee is still in the running because that's what his parents want but he doesn't personally have them in his top two.

Can't hurt to have the GF wanting him to come to Auburn. They sometimes have more pull than the family.

Not sure where this belongs but:
@JOXRoundtable: Fast Lane RT @TravHaneyESPN: As I leave SR Bowl, something that wouldn't at all surprise me: OT Greg Robinson to Texans at 1 becomes a thing

Tre, Deshaun, Roberts, Thornton and Roc are all coming back in town on unofficial visits to help recruit Evans.
I think after this weekend these guys will know where Evans is going and hopefully we get the scoop via leaks.

I have a hard time believing he will be a silent since he already has that UCLA trip planned and sure have booked flights. I doubt he makes anything official till he gets back from UCLA
That seems logical to me at least. That said, recruiting is the least logical process ever

Maybe they won't know for sure but maybe know where he's leaning. He's already OV'd UCLA once right?
I agree there.
Apologies to TTs since he probably knows some stuff and is reading this like

Who didn't realize that at this point?
I've always said it's like dating a girl. An offer is the first date to see if they want to go out. If so, you learn more about them. If it gets far enough along you'll get engaged(commitment). And when the LOI is signed, yo is arse married.
