Why you guys are acting like dickbags to guys sharing information they've heard in a fricking recruiting thread is beyond me.

Not acting like a dickbag, the repeated reference to "sources" comes off as attention seeking and offers very little information other than an anonymous claim from an anonymous internet personality.

If you only want to talk about things that have already happened, might I suggest you stay in the 2013 recruiting thread.
I don't mind the information and never once suggested only discussing things that have already happened. The repeated reference to "my source" was what I was referring to. Who is your source? Not a name, but some context, i.e. friend of recruit, friend of the AU program, HS coach, notorious bagman, etc.

quote:

Don't be a pussy TT. Say what you want and frick those who have a problem with it.

Good advice.

I'm sticking to what I've heard, but I'll only pass it along to people that don't decide to castrate someone who's just trying to add to the thread. I guess information these days has to come from some writer on AuburnSports or AuburnUndercover for it to be true or even remotely accurate, so it's whatever.

The people that want to hear what I have to say have my email.

I just don't get why anyone would be opposed to anyone sharing information. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy the humor and Gifs as much as anyone. But I want to know everything there is to know about AU Recruiting.

I'm with you on this. But you're saying one thing and getting upset about another.

I don't think anyone is outraged by anyone sharing information. However, I think people are getting agitated by the same information being posted over and over anytime contradicting information is posted.

You see, at this point the above described is not sharing information. It's actually suppressing new information.

I disagree and, by doing so, suppress you with a mighty suppression.

It's not what you share, it's how you share it that agitates people.

I like the "insider" info different ppl not only TT brings to the thread. What I don't like is how it's ok to label someone as a "lock" but as soon as I say Evans is leaning Bama then I'm a "negabarner" or trolling the thread. And Hoke can kiss my arse if he doesn't like it

I think most of us are on the same page with this. I'll go on the record by saying that I fully appreciate TTs and when I see that he's posted in the thread I make sure I read his post.

Final Rivals 250 -

LINK

Biggest climbers - LINK

PQB Sean White, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School (up 76 to No. 111): "White is a guy who just plays his best when the lights are on and the action is live. He won't wow you with his arm strength or his ability to run but he can tuck it and gain yards, he has a good feel for the pocket and he can get the ball where it needs to be. His field vision is excellent and he just has the look of a leader and a winner as we saw at the Under Armour Game." - Mike Farrell, Rivals.com National Recruiting Director

CB Stephen Roberts, Opelika, Ala. (up 30 spots to No. 170): "Roberts isn't the biggest cornerback, but he plays bigger than his size, changes direction very well and always seems to be in the hip pocket of his target. We like his aggressive attitude in run support and the way he gets his head around to play the ball. He's pesky and annoying to wide receivers and showed that at the Alabama-Mississippi game and at Under Armour." - Farrell

New faces -
LINK

CB Nicholas Ruffin, Atlanta St. Pius X School (from unranked to No. 164): "Auburn needs help at the cornerback position and there's a reason Ruffin was one of their top targets this cycle. He's a physical defensive back and showed what he can do against top-flight competition during the week at Army. At about 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Ruffin is the ever-desired big corner that SEC teams are after more than ever." - Wommack

We're up to #8 on rivals national rankings and tied with uga at #5 in avg star ranking at 3.71.

I am still just going to hang out and enjoy the recruiting cycle. This may be the year where NSD isn't just praying to hold on to recruits but actually picking up big guys we were in on. I am excited for this potential change

2012 NSD still looms in my memory

Yeah and he's always like "ooo why do you care so much about what a 17/18 year old is doing or where he's going?" Dude, then ignore recruiting and leave the rest of us the frick alone. Ok? I thought you don't care? You're no better than us that admit to following it closely.

Settle down. We're all DBs. That's why we're on the rant.

What's up with 'obtuse' being thrown around all over the place lately?

Has it become an acute problem around here?

Montravious Pitts was around 6-1 but he was probably a better rapper than cb.
