Your point?

He's got plenty of time to put on weight. He might even grow another inch or two. If he can come in at 200+ and keep those moves, he'll play RB. Those highlights were pretty nasty for a Soph.

Holland has long been thought to be a UF lean. He has visited there a ton. For him to even say that is a big deal.

Of course he will grow. I just think the kid out of Madison Academy is better and will take a lot of carries away.

My point, is that if we are accepting a commit from a soph, it isn't because we are expecting him to come in a be a role player.

He said it a couple of weeks ago too.

I don't like committable offers this early. We could have another championship run next season and have 2016 rb's knocking our door down I don't see why we take a commitment from this kid at this point.

Which one? Kerryon Johnson or Malik Miller?

Didn't he post something on twitter or instagram about getting a bunch of Auburn gear for Christmas? That has to be a good sign if he's asking for Auburn gear.

We don't know he asked for it. His family has some Auburn ties. His uncle played basketball at Auburn with Charles Barkley.

This is the obvious observation and is somehow being overlooked.

Anyway, when I say that I don't know how to project him, it's because he's 5'6" at best and probably ~160lbs, and a very lean, muscular 160 at that. He's not elite fast, as pointed out but he's incredible running the ball despite that. Vision, cuts, ability to manipulate the defender are all advanced skills that he's displaying at the same age where his mom is still dropping him off at school.

It's just challenging to project the kid's size and which RB role he will play in our offense.

Exactly. He has a similar running style to Tre to be perfectly honest. Tre was definitely faster at this stage in the game, but their tapes look very similar.

Tre wasn't a national recruit in his sophomore year. There is no comparison here.

What does him not being a national recruit have to do with his speed?

Maybe, but you cant tell me "Tre was faster". Who here saw Tre as a sophomore or freshman? No one, so how exactly are you comparing their speed?

This kid is really really young.

Yeah. I was just pointing out the fact that he's gotten more pub due to highly ranked older teammates and the program as a whole.

And I agree. Speed has never really been tre's game.
