He is being vocal about UGA all the time. Maybe UGA signing extra safeties is a sign that he is acting different about them behind the scenes.

UGA signing extra safeties is a sign that there is former walk-on on the two deep at the position and both starters will be gone after this year. If Matthews isn't willing to compete against that kind of depth, well then. don't know what to say.

If you think him flipping is due to him not wanting to compete, then why in the hell would you want him in the first place. Easy excuse to use should you lose him, and nowhere close to the truth, and you know it.

Yea.... That would horrify me as a Clemson fan.

And thus my "don't know what to say" comment. Matthews is free to go wherever he feels is best for him. If it is UGA, I will cheer him on. If he goes elsewhere, then I will heckle him mercilessly every time he plays UGA and probably forget he exists on other Saturdays. Just the way I roll.

Our D line just may get to know T Boyd a lot better this year.

If they don't, we're in trouble

When they start a gimpy LT, let me know. Boyd did a good job of getting rid of the ball quickly last year (freaking Roof cushion ) but hopefully we'll do better versus that.

We gotta look good in this game. "Upset" of a top 15 team in a big national televised game with recruits in the stands would look damn good.

I fully expect to see more of this Saturday. He will be getting rid of the ball very quickly. Lots of reverses and misdirections. I think they will try and run outside alot and work the screen while taking a few shots down the field. Our pass rush will have to be dominating.

On the other hand, we are in a similar boat as them. New offensive line and all.

I see the coaches holding Frazier back a little this game. I doubt we see him have to throw it down the field a whole lot. I think they'll want to build up his confidence and give the o line a chance to find a rhythm first by letting him hand it off and do some easy screen passes. Maybe once he gets settled in by the third or fourth series we'll see him throw it downfield more.

Isn't their defensive line pretty young? Or just inexperienced? I think this may not be too bad of a first game for our young OL. I certainly feel like Clemson's OL will struggle more than ours.

Yea, we need to press the living shite out of their receivers. Don't let any of them off the line quickly. That is how you mess up that offense. It's how bama, LSU, etc did it to us. Make the qb have to throw it deep, and the DL will get their sacks.

From Michigan Rivals

Is the writing on the wall for five-star running back Derrick Green? Some might think so. The Richmond (Va.) Hermitage standout, Rivals.com's No. 1 running back nationally, will take another trip to see Auburn this weekend, only a week after his latest visit.

Green enjoyed his August U-M unofficial immensely and is still planning an official visit to Michigan before choosing a college in October. It's clear, however, that he's enamored with the Auburn program, having visited the campus more than any other on his short list.

"Derrick Green driving eight hours to see Auburn take on Clemson has to be a very good sign for [Coach Gene] Chizik and company. That's a heckuva drive," Rivals.com's Mike Farrell tweeted. "A Michigan win over Alabama would really help their cause with Derrick because all he hears from people is how he needs to play in the SEC."

I do not like having even the slightest reason to pull for the Gumps. F it, GO BLUE.

I might catch hell for this, but Green runs like Lattimore (before ACL injury).

I'm feeling really good about our chances with Green based on that.

I'm with Brannigan, I couldn't give a crap whether Michigan beating Alabama helps them with Green. I doubt it would really mean anything to him.

I would be interested to know what Al Borges says about Auburn to these kids that both schools are after. He doesn't seem like the type to be a big negative recruiter. (I don't know how much he has to do with their recruiting at all really.

It seems like him being at Auburn and having coached with Chizik before would give him a unique perspective.

Why would you catch hell? Lattimore is a monster. 1st round NFL lock pre-injury.

We have heard and read it that the defensive schemes for the DL is completely different then last year. This will be a much different look then last year. Our DL will expose any weakness on their OLine.

Will not pull for Bama ever. I don't care if it helps with a recruit or not.

I do not pull for Bama, but it would be piss poor if Michigan beat them. I will be one of the first to cast ridicule in their direction if they lose*.
