I mean several teams in the top 12 are legitimately good football teams and can beat TCU or Michigan or USC

I was at the natty and thought the Rose Bowl was spectacular. Certainly a better football environment than where I watched us win the natty in January 2011.

A lot of people complain that there aren't even four good teams each year.
But if that is the case, why does it matter? Worst case scenario, we get some good games and all the teams typically 5-7 can actually demonstrate how they would do.
Also, unlike current bowls, I think most players will not opt out during the play offs --- which leads to better games for the fans.
It is happening either way, so we might as well look at the positives.

I think 12 is a lot more fun and will be a better product than the current format. However, because money, 16 feels inevitable and I hope it never gets to 16 or 24.

I think 12 teams playoff will effect the regular season, which I am against.
I think 6 teams with the first and second place teams getting a bye would be ideal, if you're set on expanding.

Basically, a 2 or less loss Bama, Ohio St, UGA are always in with 12.

Any 2-loss SEC team would make the top 12… UT this yr for example.
