So over on the AUFam thread, there's a rumor that the "Boise Boys" don't get along with the SEC baws on staff. Boise Boys are apparently winning in the struggle so far
Ask Titan from corchjay if he got his info from Josh Moon lol

If our coaches are literally having to teach players how to catch a football, then we've got huge problems. But keep posting you gifs.

I know it’s hard concept to grasp but most of our WRs were just better then high school competition. Didn’t have to do anything but out run 5’8” cornerbacks.
Ever caught a pass from an SEC caliber QB? It would probably fold your hands back into your face. The difference in velocity from chunking the football around in the yard is shocking.

Yeah, I'm willing to call it a bad hire and stick that on Harsin. However, I like that he's not gonna let it get worse than it needs to be and stick with someone who isn't getting it done just they don't look as bad for the original hire.
I agree with you and Jones. It looks bad on Harsin for firing him so quickly but if it had to be done, then so be it. Harsin has not made impressive decisions up to this point. If Corn needed to be fired others did as well.

what exactly do you think a position coaches job is? Are these kids supposed to learn at the HS level and come to college knowing everything they need already?

Then I got nothing. I don’t like nor dislike JGT but he isn’t connected at all to this staff and neither are the rest of the reporters at this point.

I know it's hard for you to grasp, but do you think college baseball coaches have to teach catchers how to catch a fricking baseball? you are full of shite constantly.
Posted on 9/26/21 at 6:21 pm to Awesome Dave
They have to coach bad tendencies out to increase catch percentage. Same shite in football.

Does anyone take frosted hair seriously? I mean the guy is a joke. He gets on his show and acts like some damn 15-16 year old with his drinking game. Look at me I am the cool kid! Plus he is a Gus homer.
He seems very insecure.

This is so absurd. We are literally suggesting that the guy was fired because he didn't teach the guys how to "catch." WTF.
Posted on 9/26/21 at 6:25 pm to Awesome Dave
I don’t think anyone said that was the reason. Not putting a wide receiver group on the field that CAN catch though is a pretty large fricking issue though.
Putting receivers on the field that don’t know the playbook (allegedly) is another one.

Yes they do have to teach catchers how to catch and I had a great high school coach. But we only had one guy that could touch 90. In college everyone threw 90ish+. Breaking ball speed was also probably 15 mile per hour faster with much higher spin rate and movement. Broke my thumb multiple times. Hands and body stayed beat up because most college pitchers aren’t exactly accurate. Think hitters need hitting coaches? Pitchers need pitching coaches. Don’t be goofy because you had a bad take. Every team has a WR coach and it’s not just a position where you here guys run over here like this and then catch the ball. Half the guys in their 20s on the board and in decent shape probably couldn’t get off a jam by an SEC DB

If there are athletic guys on the sidelines with soft hands who aren't playing then that sucks. But if the best guys we have just aren't catching the ball, then we recruited the wrong receivers, or the ball isn't being thrown well.
