Bo was middle school, head scratchingly inaccurate on at least 3 throws.

WR's had the substitution issues, numerous drops, at least two false start penalties, and I'm highly confident they ran the wrong routes or at the very least missed an audible. Traaaaaaaash.

what if, we don’t know all the details of the day?
We damn sure don't. And Harsin is being a professional and not saying.

fired 4 games in
This narrative needs to stop. Corn has been on staff 9+ months. Harsin knew what he was and wasn't, at this point.

quote:Then you noticed the 5 linemen vs 6-9 folks at times. They stacked the box. Again no excuse but Bo should have checked out of the run a few times and did the quick throws to the outside. There were times the middle was open but he panicked and pulled the trigger early...
Our offensive line was absolutely atrocious in every facet. They got pushed around all day by what should be inferior talent.
Agree about the WR issues we all saw it and take a look at how many snaps we played with 10 over the past few games. Now for the talk of demoting a coach vice firing him. You have to take a look at the contract. That is Corn's leverage about payout, etc. Also if you did a poor job according to the HC then why would you want to stick around knowing that by contract you will be payed anyway?

For better or worse Gus ran a system - seemingly for every offensive position - where you could come in and execute it after one fall camp. No OL blocking/protection shifts, No QB audibles, no WR route choices/adjustments, no RB protection checks, and a meh strength and conditioning program.

We already have a tough road to go with 2 below standard recruiting classes. (yes i know this class isn't done)
Look, I understand the concern about this coming class. As you said, it's not done, but it doesn't look good.
But to put last year's class on Harsin or this staff at all is pretty damn disingenuous. Hell, 85% of prospects in the country had already signed with their teams when Harsin was hired. He then spent the next 6-8 weeks, or more, evaluating his roster, hiring a staff, evaluating prospects, recruiting juniors to try and keep them around instead of going to the draft, and moving himself and his family across the country. All while doing a pretty good job of holding the recruiting class already on board together.
But using the '21 signing class as a guage to his recruiting ability just isn't fair in the least. Like I said, it may get absolutely horrible and have the worst program in the history of Auburn football. But the '21 recruiting class won't give anyone the slightest clue as to what direction this thing could go.
