We exceeded my expectations by 4 games but the last 2 weeks have been typical Braves September/playoff baseball. I think we do beat the cardinals. But I don’t think it will be easy at all. I think we win in 5 and then lose to the dodgers in 6. What y’all think?

I don't know but this is the best roster we've had in 15+ years or more. And the best manager since Bobby Cox. I'm going to go with a world series birth. It's very possible. If not this year, then when? This year is the year.

Depends on Freeman and Acuna's health. Unfortunately, it sounds like Freeman is gutting it out through a nasty bone spur in the elbow and he won't be himself

NLCS if Freeman is 80%. Probably lose in 5 or 6.

I'm less hopeful if he's not.

Would've had a better shot at taking down LA if everyone stayed healthy and the starting pitching wasn't going in on a mediocre run. I'd have still favored the Dodgers then but it'd have been a tighter series.

Still worried (maybe it's just the Georgia sports fan curse in me) that our pitching could be worst case scenario and we could easily lose to the Cards.

Then I think screw it, we winning it all.

If I had to wager, win NLDS vs. Cards (5 games), lose in 6 or 7 to the Dodgers in the NLCS.

Right now I do not see anyone beating the Astros or Yankees except the other one.

That being said, I'd obviously love to see the Braves win the World Series.

frick it, I'm down to throw away my protective negativity and get hurt once again.

The Braves are going to make it to the World Series. We'll be playing with house money at that point so who knows what will happen.

put down a $50 bet early this year for the Dodgers, Atl United, and the KC Chiefs to all win their respective championships. So I'm sure this will be the year that the Braves break through and at least make it to the WS while costing me about $20k in winnings lol. Your welcome.

I'd argue that a Braves WS Title would be worth missing out on that 20K

Although keep in mind I'm the same person who is willing to get non-lethally shot for my teams.

I don't know if I'm mentally prepared for the 4.5-5 hour playoff games.

I barely survived a 3.5 hour UGA-ND game.

you just blew the minds of all those Saints fans who have to latch on to an out-of-state baseball team. which bandwagon are they going to hop on to?
