How do we feel about Truist Bank Park?

Suntrust naming rights were reportedly worth around $10 million/year so. I understand that is going to be impossible for our corporate owners to give up so if they are going with Truist Bank Park then I say we should at least make the complete name:

The name is getting absolutely slammed online. It's the worst since Tribune Publishing became "tronc"

According to dictionary.com truist isn’t a real word. The new company said it’s a term they came up with to reflect “trust and true.”
I guess it’s pronounced “true-ist”...?? Or is it some weird spelling of “trust?”

I'd take BB&T park over Truist, though

Honestly, they need to both agree to kill this sponsorship deal and look elsewhere. They are no longer an Atlanta bank.
Yes, I know MB is not headquartered in Atlanta either. But Stuttgart, Germany is not Charlotte. Charlotte is a rival when it comes to banking.

Maybe they’ll give Coke or Home Depot another shot at a bid. Hell, HD’s headquarters is a couple exits down 285 from the park. Seems like a natural fit

The naming rights deal was for 25 years, $10mil a year. Maybe there was some clause in it that allows the Braves to seek other sponsors in the event of a buyout/merger by Sun Trust Bank. Just realized Coke sponsors a Triple-A team in Pennsylvania. Home Depot, Delta, UPS, Southern Company, Coke will hopefully try and step up, I really don’t want to see Truist Bank all over the stadium.

Yeah I’m just assuming that there was language in the contract that would protect the park in the event that the sponsor has a situation like this. But that’s probably a bold assumption. BB&T isn’t shy about sponsoring venues, so I’m sure they’ll fight to keep naming rights.
What a fricking terrible name. I have a friend that works at Suntrust in Buckhead, and he said there was a company-wide naming contest for the new bank. If the execs picked your submission, there were all types of rewards...and yet this is the best fricking name they could come up with
