That game was painful to watch, even though the Falcons were winning. The only bright spot of that game was watching Bijon. That kids vision and cuts are Barry Sanders-esque. Ironically, both were on perennial shite-tastic teams.

Rams pick getting better and better

At least the falcons are consistent. They continue to find ways to lose in OT or last seconds.
They’ve gotten good at that!

Blow the whole fricking thing up. Fire everyone and trade anyone with value who is not a current rookie.

That's a wrap on the Falcs 2025 football campaign. No playoffs.
Can't even beat the lowly NY Jets. I can't believe that happened.

I mean ya can’t do that. Wondering if Morris gets canned at end of year though?!
Ya have to ride with Penix for another season or 2 and the defense seems… improved, but improved from dogshit isn’t great.

3 torn ACLs in the last 6(?) years, on top of shitty footwork and fragile confidence? I'm out. Recognize a sunk cost and move on.
He was supposed to be the "most ready to play" of all the QBs in that draft class but he isn't remotely close to being even a league average starter.

Me, too. Get as much draft capital that you can and start over. Should be plenty of cap space after getting rid of Penix, Pitts, and Cousins.

The only one of those 3 that can be traded is Penix.
Extend Allgeier and trade Bijan. Get all draft capital possible.

Trade London, trade Bijan. Trade anyone that isn/'t part of the defensive rookie class. Commit to tanking next season. Draft a QB in 2027.
If the Falcons truly want to right the ship that is how you do it.
Instead, here is what they will do:
They will break off London and Bijan, making them two of the highest paid players int he league. They will go after a bridge QB next season, someone like Brissett while we wait on Penix. The team will go 7-10. We will enter 2027 no closer to anything and still have unanswered questions at QB.

Part of the problem is the Falcons never committed to a true rebuild in the post Ryan era. They should have blown it up after the 2020 season and traded Ryan and Ridley when they traded Julio. Instead, they drafted Pitts and tried to recreate the 2016 offense that was clearly never coming back.
Signing Cousins and drafting Penix in the same offseason was another sign they would never truly commit to a rebuild.

As far as a new head coach, I'd be up for Kalen DeBoer.
I think he's a really good coach and seems to have the temperament for the pros. (ulterior motives notwithstanding)

Gross. No. They need someone off the Shanahan tree like Kubiak or LaFleur.

Zero chance anyone with options will take this job. There are about 7-8 good players on the roster and the rest of it is a big pile of shite with more holes than a Vegas whorehouse. There is no 1st round pick to help this season, they probably have to start over at QB, and we have arguably the worst owner in the league.
DeBoer also coached Penix in college so maybe he could figure out how to salvage him, because Penix did not look like an NFL QB this season.

Seahawks, have mercy. This one is already a blow out. No need to keep the torture going.
Just kneel on the ball when on Offense, then Punt.

I saw a Seahawk explosive play for a TD and a Falc defender didn't even try to stop him.
I think that players want Coach Morris to be fired.

In Raheem's first 30 games, he has six 20+ point losses.
For reference, in Hue Jackson's first 30 games with the Browns, he had five 20+ point losses.

I'm praying Cleveland fires Stefanski and we get him.
The hire must be an offensive focused guy. DC are easier to replace when poached.
