LETS. GO. HAWKS.

“What’s exciting is this isn’t the end, but it’s the beginning. We’re young.” -Ice Trae

Hawks have A+ ownership, management, and coaching. They’ve got super young players and a star.

I’ve said it a few times on here, but, the Hawks are going to be the team to end the 1995 drought. I don’t know if it’s this year, but holy heck this is fun.

Bring on Milwaukee!!!

It is so hard to keep a pro basketball team in tact. I hope the Hawks can do it, but they have some tough decisions to make. These playoffs have exposed Capela a little bit. Need an upgrade there.

He’s on the roster. His name is Onyeka Okongwu and he’s an absolute beast; held Embiid in check and he’s only 20 years old.

I swear, some folks are low key salty that it’s gonna be the Hawks and not the Braves whose young core is gonna run the city sports scene for the near future.

I cheer for ‘em all but I’m not too dense to know that as long as Liberty Media owns the team, the Braves won’t make the moves necessary to win.

Maybe, but he sure doesn't play much.

Nobody held Embid in check. That was kind of my point.

He's a rookie dude. When he has been in he has contributed.

He played 16 minutes. When guarding Embiid, he went 0/3 from beyond the ark (compared to 2/2 with Capella), only allowed ONE FG to an MVP candidate, and came up with some massive offensive boards last night and all series.

Again, very impressive and fluid for a guy who turned 20 THIS YEAR.

It's relative when you talk about a guy whose literally the MVP of the league if he doesn't get hurt. Joel is a freak of nature, and widely considered the most dominant Center in basketball since Shaq.

Just a FYI:

Kevin Huerter and Ian Anderson of the Braves are best friends. They are from the same town in upstate NY.

Hawks didn’t come home last night and the plane landed in Milwaukee an hour or so ago.

This is a totally different team from top to bottom from that 2015 team who didn’t have an Ice Trea to lead them into battle.

The Bucks are solid as you would expect like a King Cobra ready to strike but….Honey Badger don’t care he fina eat!

Went to the same high school at the same time as well if I remember correctly.

They talked about that last month during the Braves broadcast when Anderson was starting against the Mets @ Citi Field the same night the Hawks were playing the Knicks @ the Garden in the last couple of weeks of the regular season.

Not sure if I am in full agreement. Capela is giving us fantastic numbers for his salary. Embiid is very hard to stop, and Capela was able to run the floor to wear Embiid out so he was ineffective in the later parts of the game.

Outside of Embiid, he's been dominant down low.

The man led the NBA in blocks... he's a really good player, and on the offensive end, he and Trae have that floater/lob down to a science.

As we continue to rise the ranks, he may be a causality of the cap as Okongwu gets ready to take center stage (no pun intended).

The Atlanta Hawks may be getting a key rotation player back soon. The Hawks have upgraded forward Cam Reddish to questionable for Game 1 against the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern conference finals, a change in his status from the previous two playoff series. Reddish has been inactive since late February but appears to be close to coming back.

This would be awesome news and Cam thrives against the Bucks…

I'm amped up for tonight

It's nice knowing the road to the Finals doesn't run through a team on LeBron's back. Giannis is good and will get his, but he doesn't scare me like LBJ did back in 2015.

As much as I dislike him for obvious reasons… this man could take the Atlanta Celtics AAU team in his prime and make me nervous.

Giannis isn’t a fraction the player LeBron is. Agreed. He’s way less scary. Great player, not a top-5 all-time type player.

Dumbest hypothetical ever posted online is still the one from a few years back that said, "Could LeBron James carry a 16 seed to the Final Four?"

LeBron effortlessly carved us to shreds in 2015 and gave us no shot/hope, but I truly believe we can put some good pressure on the Bucks and who knows what happens if we can push this to 6 or 7.

He had some help. JR Smith was unreal in Game 1 of that series.

That's absolutely in the lexicon of negative Atlanta sports experiences.
