Cardinals have the only fanbase worse than the Saints.

They're the best fans in baseball.
You don't even have to ask them about it; they'll tell you.

Keuchel's playoff tuneup is not going well so far.

Brewers winning and Cards losing late in their games tonight. Bout to be tied heading into tomorrow. Would love to see them finish the season tied and have to play a game on Monday.
if the games finish with these scores intact, it'll be interesting to see if the Cards pitch Flaherty tomorrow or if they save him for Monday. Either way, it might mean that we don't face him in Game 1 if we play them in the NLDS

i didn't see the Braves tonight but it sounds like Freeman's elbow might still be bothering him?

It’s happening. Isn’t it?

brewers really choked that one away. still a chance for a tie but they must win today with a cards loss.

Good luck tomorrow, Braves. May the best team win.

Making fun of Atlanta's flimsy efforts at professional sports success doesn't make you a "bad" fanbase.
I told the idiots wailing after game 1 that the Cardinals don't hit when Flaherty pitches but they didn't listen. That is what I get for conversing with such an abortion of a fanbase.

... and the better team did win! Folty threw an absolute gem of a game starting from the 1st pitch.
Dude was lights the frick out!
Now we have to steal one in StL. Soroka on Sunday is our best bet. I think this is gonna go to game 5 though!

Nats winning 5-2 bottom 6.
People said the Braves couldn’t win it all and I laughed my arse off.
The Braves were a Workd Series team.
Snitker is a terrible MLB manager.

It's going to hurt even more if the Nats win this. It would be easier to accept if the Astros just steamrolled them in 4 (or 5 at this point). In my mind I could play the "well nobody was beating this Astros team anyway" card.

I'd say it's a lot more Freddie Freeman's elbow was fricked than Snitker. Snitker isn't blameless on that series but if you have a fully right Freddie, you win that NLDS and most likely beat the Nationals.
But even with them changing the balls back, the Braves don't have the top end SP the Nationals do to POTENTIALLY pitch consistent shut down baseball against Houston. My best hope hypothetically if we're playing this game, would be getting just one 7 inning shut down outing and it'd be from Soroka, then 5-6 and pray after that from others.

Yeah but Freddie shouldn’t have said shite about Acuna, the pitching management wasn’t very good. There were some dumb play calls. Snitker is good at a day-to-day roster but this is 2 years in a row the post season has owned us. The Cardinals series was a disaster. I realize we had some injuries with Cakes and FF.
I think most importantly this off season is to focus on pitching.
It’s 2-0 top 1st, Gnats lead.

Verlander pulled after 7
Imagine if Snitker would let our best pitchers play instead of going through some methodical pitch count.

Nut up, y’all about to see the nationals win it all

Yeah! I'd have enjoyed watching Dallas Keuchel go all old school (but what's probably about to be back with the deadened ball) and blow the tie in game 1 by giving up a long 2 run homer to Goldy!
There was no pitch count in his case. There was more he kinda sucks but we started him first because veteran and Soroka's road stats were way better. Soroka could've gone twice. I just think he'd have kind of sucked if he went on game 4 short rest himself and it'd have likely still led towards game 5 win or go home with the guy y'all like to call a headcase on the mound.
And none of this would've mattered with health of the players. That is why I've said many times that the Nationals likely beat us even if we advance.

oddly enough I'm ok with it. I don't find them as unlikeable as I used to when they had Bryce, Werth, etc. My hope is that Rendon decides to move on if they win a championship and we can snatch him up in FA. If they lose, maybe he sticks around
