Was invited to Little Rock touchdown club, declined. First time they've never had the Arkansas AD as a guest.
I realize he and Bazz are not each other's biggest fans but if you're yuracheck you can't be a no show to one of the predominant touchdown clubs in the country, in your own state.

Can you imagine if HDN was actually able to be the one who got it turned around. I mean at this point we'd all be ecstatic with a coach with his sec record. Talk about a downfall.

2 out of 3 ain't bad. But there ain't no way. . .

There would need to be a clause in the contract that keeps him out of team meetings and off the football field, no if's and our buts.
Hand shaker, baby holding and money raising only.
But we know his ego won't ever sign a contract as such
And where the hell is Donna Bragg these days?

Nutt would be skimming money off the top.
Posted on 8/13/26 at 5:24 pm to Razorback Reverend
Probably has more to do with Hunter making extremely asinine comments there every year that have done nothing but draw negative attention to the football program.

Nutt being within 100 miles of the sports program is a massive mistake. He's got people on a list to persecute after the way he was run off. He's never forgot
There is a reason he's never been involved with a program since Ole Miss

I met him before in person.
I don't care for his narcissistic rah rah used car salesman personality.
For certain, if you wrong him in any way or say anything that resembles negativity, he will get you back.
He's toxic and hog fans are gullible enough to believe anything this snake says.

It’s amazing some of the stuff people forget.
The program turned into an absolute crap show at the end of his tenure.
If we wanted to use him in a fundraiser role I’d be ok. As AD heck no.
We’d have Teressa Pruitt emailing players all the time.
He’d have danny run and get a brain scan anytime conflict hit.
But I will say, the Darksider/Hugger Wars was an time ti be alive.
ChatGPT calls it the Arkansas Civil War and thats an appropriate name.

He doesn't need to be anywhere except become a distant memory.
Who can forget his cronies forwarding an email that Included harassing an 18 year old. That definitely showed maturity.
It started before that.
It began after a disappointing 2003 season and he was given the infamous two year pass.
He put his name in for the Nebraska job and got a raise out of it.
After the 2004 season, he put his name again for the LSU job.
2005 season was I called that play chuck.
2006 season. Jim Lindsey forced Malzahn on Nutt to get the Springdale players. He resisted by turning up the drama and Malzahn didn't mind it if he could get his job. Both fought each other and Nutt won in the end. Some of the Springdale players transferred and Malzahn left for Tulsa.
Broyles retires at the beginning of 2007 and Nutt had to find another place to land.
2007 season. Banners , freedom of information act, an affair with a local news anchor and fire Nutt newspaper ads.
Nutt "resigned," and just a few days later gets hired at Ole Miss. That seems odd that he got hired at another job so quickly.
If Arkansas would have done the right thing and fired Nutt after the 2005 season then hog fans would have a more positive reaction to Nutt.
He stayed way too long and was treated like a king here compared to what other fans would have done at other programs.
I mentioned this many times in the past. If Arkansas would have hired Butch Davis after 2005, we probably wouldn't be in shape that we are now.

Bad look for the University of "Arkansas". Well, in their eyes, "Northwest Arkansas".

The crappy part of all of it is he knows he's done so he's just going to continue to not care.. Football will continue to wallow around in the dumpster, silverfish will be under a new ad shortly who will then want his own hire and we'll be back in the same morning cycle again.. All because nobody in charge could comprehend how to raise money from the beginning and we ended up being behind Ole Miss for some unknown reason.
Since September of 2012 this program has doing absolutely nothing to better itself from year over year. Just floating in the muck.

Had we hired Jimmy in 83 we never live any of it.
Odds are Jimmy leaves for Dallas, then Butch Davis, then Tommy Tubberville.
That gets us through the Mid-2000’s and our history looking much different.

I thought Ken Hatfield did a good job considering Frank Broyles pretty much controlled his every move. I read the book 40 minutes of hell the Nolan Richardson story and it showed Hatfield leaving Broyles office frustrated and complained to Nolan about it. He gave him some plays to look at and he crumbled it into a ball, threw it in a trash can. That's what Nolan in his own words thought of Broyles. Hatfield left because he had in his own words to get away from Broyles.
I can't see Jimmy Johnson getting along with Broyles and he wouldn't allow him to cheat.
Hatfield was a safer hire because he wasn't outspoken and he would run a cleaner program.
Same with Switzer. No guarantee both of them would have done better than Hatfield if they had some type of constraints. If not then it would be our luck the NCAA investigates and put Arkansas on severe probation.
The biggest dumbass move was letting Hatfield leave and they hired Jack Crowe. In just within a couple of years Arkansas went from a very solid respectable program to a bottom feeder before joining the SEC.
I can't see Arkansas making those hires in the 90s. Once John White took office in 97, he neutered Broyles and blocked all of his hires except baseball. Now if John White never came then maybe Broyles could make these hires but he should have retired after joining the SEC. He was pretty old for an AD then and if he did then maybe someone like Terry Don Philips would take his position. He wasn't going to wait on Broyles to retire and he took the AD job at Clemson and hired Dabo Swinney.

Yuracheck is doing what his superiors are telling him. Do whatever you can to resist this new era of NIL. If you have to get congress involved so be it, we will back your effort in the fight against NIL.
That backfired as SEC rivals such as Ole Miss was very aggressive and passed Arkansas. They were confident NIL was going to be the norm and they acted quickly.
About the time Arkansas started understanding that they weren't going to win this fight, they changed course but they were behind most if not all SEC schools.

You know what? frick it. He couldn't do worse. Unless he ignores/disrespects basketball and pisses off Cal.
It would also be worth it to see the meltdown among certain members of my family who outright hate Nutt.
