We are undefeated and have won every game by double digits. What the hell could they have been critical about?

The letter could be from literally anyone, from any fanbase, for any number of reasons.
Or even, as in the case of Sumlin, from inside his own house.

The better way to handle that would be just laughing and throwing the letter in the trash. Crap like that is going to happen when you are a coach of any team.
Don't give the perp the satisfaction of it even being acknowledged.
