There’s like 4 legitimate answers for #1

I’d go 1. Trelon Smith - has a knack for finding space and is lightning quick. Runs like he thinks he’s twice his size. Good ball security and knows the offense.

1.a Rocket - Loved that TD run pushing a horn 10 yards into the end zone. Kinda reminds me of a Bama RB - big but with a low center of gravity, and fast.

3. AJ Green - he’s going to be the Felix to Rockets D-Mac. Get him on the edge and it’s over. I hope we can start working him into the screen game

4. Johnson - Every team needs a back like this to get the tough yards. He’s Broderick Green right now with the potential to be more. Most impressive was his pass protection and I think that’s going to secure him playing time more than anything else do right now

I’ve watched his touchdown run like 20 times.

I think we went as deep as 6th string RB and they all looked good. Granted, that might be because Texas is so soft I could waddle for a 5 yard gain on every play against them.

We shouldn't overlook our O-line play either

The media guys were fawning over Rocket during the Rice post-game presser, but it made me raise an eyebrow when Pittman sort of interjected and said don't forget Johnson and started talking him up. It was definitely telling in terms of how much Pittman liked him and had him right there with Rocket, A.J. and Trelon.

Trelon Smith threw a 220 pound Texas dude about 5 yards last night.

Kid is an absolute beast.

Arkansas simply had more talent than Texas did and look at all these skill players. I think the number five for Texas is a good RB but they have nothing after him.

Texas ain't the number 15 team in the nation because they always get put on a pedestal until they prove they are no good. Meanwhile Arkansas is bad until they prove they are good.

His running style is that of Fred Talley.

Watching us go five deep at running back was awesome. It’s been awhile since we had guys that could actually make the first defender miss and then beat the second defender to the the edge. Green looks like the next star Razorback football player in my opinion.

Rocket is an absolute manimal of a person. Him dragging a Texas DB into the endzone was nuts.

AJ Green looked like Travis Etienne on his TD run.

RB depth is looking impressive right now.

Yeah on the long pass from KJ to Tyson Morris he had a huge block that made it all possible. Love the effort he plays with.

Bought my 2.5 year old a Rakeem Boyd era #5 jersey last night at the game but I told him it was a Rocket Sanders jersey this morning when I gave it to him so I think that’s my answer.

Did yall see Trelon dive into the end zone and just keep floating forward?

I can't pick a favorite. I will say what I said in the gamethread last night, though.

AJ Green has the running vision of Alex Collins coupled with the top end speed of Joe Adams. That's a scaaaary combo. I love the way he follows his blocks and gives them time to develop holes like AC3 did despite his insane speed.

The crazy thing about it is Johnson, Sanders and Green were recruited by other schools to play defense primarily. Great eye for talent by the staff to want them at RB. I bet Pittman learned a thing or two at Georgia about the benefits of having a deep stable of RBs.
