Ozzie Smith

Lol.

When I said Ozzie I figured I would be totally alone.

This is the 3rd Ozzie vote in the thread. Sorry if I seem to be dominating this thread, but it's a little different than usual and I'm kind of passionate about this topic.

I loved that old Cardinals team.

It was the first Pro team I ever started seriously following as a fan and Ozzie was my favorite.

I remember seeing Terry Pendleton make the 1st triple play I had ever seen. I was amazed that a player could make a triple play.

Good times.

Dude, you could damn near put out a GOAT at each position with just Yankees. It's really incredible what they accomplished and crazy how long it's been since they won a WS.

I'm a Cards fan, but I'm looking forward to seeing the Yankees good again.

When I was a kid I loved baseball,I just didn't follow it when I got grown.I wish we had baseball when I was in high school.

I played the sports, football, basketball and track that were offered. But baseball wasn't there at high school level then.

The Kid, Maddox, Chipper, Ichiro and Vlad are all who I grew up on.

Hard to choose between any of them.

I grew up watching the STL Cardinals playing small ball under the White rat. Get a hitter on steal a base. Move the runner to 3rd. Sacrifice him home. Lot of low scores back then.

I remember one season Pedro Guerrero led the Cardinals with 13 homers. I was afraid to miss his at bats because I thought he might hit one any time.

I grew up watching the Big Red Machine. Pete Rose was the backbone of that team. He is my favorite, but I hate seeing what has happened to him.

Outside of him, I'd say Roberto Clemente. That guy was fabulous at every faze of the game. Great speed, power, and a rocket arm.
