For the basketball game. I want a nice clean hotel, with great bedding, decent room service/meals. close to the university if possible.

THought about embassy suites, but not sure... thanks

The best place is 21C in Bentonville.

Go with what you know though. Sounds like you’re leaning Embassy to me and I’m not going to try and talk you out of it.

Enjoy your stay and try not to get smoked on Dickson if you head that way.

Chancellor or get an AirBnb, tons of super nice ones in Fayetteville.

Embassy and 21c are half an hour away from campus. Embassy is close to nothing besides the lame arse prominade, 21c is at least in downtown B-ville which is ok but not Fayettechill.

Chancellor’s always booked on game day/night. There are some solid B and Bs downtown looks like.

If it were me, out of principal I wouldn’t stay in Fayetteville based on their ridiculous HMR tax.

As far as the Embassy goes? If it’s like other rundown J.Q. Hammonds BS properties, hard pass but there are a bunch of restaurants next to it now within walking distance.

If you plan on making a trip to CB on Sunday, then Rogers or Bentonville isn’t a bad choice. If not, STL is right; that’s a 30 min. haul.

For all Fayetteville, and really NWA as a whole, has to offer; their lodging options are pretty weak.

is Pratt place inn still open, that would fall under best or most expensive categories. Inn at carnall Hall would be choice 2

Even Centerton has an HMR tax

Sorry. If your too poor to support the places you visit, don't travel. Easy solution

Who gives a shite? Rogers and Bentonville don’t. Now be helpful or go somewhere else.

Wow the arse hurt is strong with this one. Glad the HMR tax keeps this kind of rifraff out of Fayetteville

I think the lodging in NWA is certainly much more strong and has many more options than when I went to school there although admittedly that’s not saying a whole lot. But it beats staying at Alma or Fort Fresh and driving in for a game.

My Fayetteville favorite would be the Chancellor on the Square and it has been a Hilton and maybe other things throughout the years. I like its proximity to Dickson and the bar downstairs is a pretty neat place to assemble. Room prices can fluctuate from reasonable to ridiculous at least during football season. But it looks like it is booked up.

The Holiday Inn Express or some of the other chain hotels in and around the Farmington or Lake Wedington exits are fine. No room service though.

In NWA generally Embassy Suites rates as my favorite (I pretty much like Embassy Suites in any location) in one of my favorite areas and the Aloft not too far from there is good as well.

Surprised that there isn't a full service Marriott, etc in Fayetteville city limits.

Havent decided where to stay yet...

My folks like to stay at the Inn in Johnson, but they've shut down the restaurant there. There is some sort of Marriot that is just across the street as well.

I’d offer the guest bed to you here in Rogers if I wasn’t certain my wife would destroy me for doing so.

We will be at the KY game as well...

Some of these places are expensive for simple rooms, I would rather pay a bit more and stay at a nicer place..
