I don’t think I’ve ever even seen a high school QB sail a ball 7 yards above a wide open guy in the end zone much less an SEC QB.

It’s really insane the difference between Taylen’s raw ability and his performance. We’ve seen him make a couple of incredible throws already, so he has the arm talent. Everyone knows he can run.

Outside of that, he’s got damn near zero composure, pocket awareness, ability to anticipate throws, read defenses.

On the bright side, what he’s missing are the things that are coachable. He already has the things that can’t be taught

On a side note, KJ just led a huge 2nd half comeback for UCF to beat Kendal Briles and TCU 35-34.

Amazing to see what he and Rocket can do when they’re not 30 lbs overweight.

Auburn is about on par with UAB and we always play better on the road.

You are being too generous. Our defense was seen arguing on the field almost every play about who to cover/ what to do.

I do not know if you would have to throw a single pass to beat us, but if you do, you will have at least 10 seconds for your quarterback to pick his wide open receivers.

On one play alone, they had two WR running wide open right beside each other so they had to pick which one got the ball. The only good tackling we had was a play where our guys tackled each other.

It’s petrino’s offense so he’s the nutless one. Why do you boys keep blaming the bad things on offense on Sam? He gave it hook line and sinker to Petrino. If the offense sucks then Petrino sucks.

Yep. Sick of the Sam hate when this is Petrino’s baby.

The mouthbreathers that hate Sam will hate him no matter what. Then we’ll fire him and they’ll do it to the next coach. Rinse. Repeat.

Arkansas had 427 yards of total offense with 266 yards on the on the ground.

Green is not accurate and it shouldn't be a surprise to many fans that he is struggling.

Is Sam in charge or not? Who hired petrino when they admittedly had no idea what to do to fix us....

I don't hate Sam, I hate how bad he is doing as a head coach...

Yes BP ain't what he used to be that's been evident for years.

Sam has his own share in this year 5 there is no culture, no discipline, no preparation, no plan, and no accountability. The state of the program is 100% on Sam Pittman that's not hate it's just truth.

Looks like his footwork is a mess but I'm not a QB expert. Throws to his initial read, or throws on the run, his accuracy is usually decent. When he's switching stance to go to another read, it turns into a nightmare

I'll walk back my post from earlier a little.. I said he can't read defenses and I don't think that's fair. To his credit he does go through progressions and finds the open guy a fair amount - it's just that his feet are tied together by the time he gets there.

I'd still take Taylen over KJ and it's not very close

Some of our fans are their own worst enemy and they’re miserable to be around.

They probably know it deep down, but for them to change is like asking the sky to turn brown.

KJ completed 12 passes and ran for 50 yards. Let's calm down a bit. UCF won because their running back got 29 touches and ran for 180 yards.

Yet if it weren't for KJ they never would have been in the game. Once again for the 20th or so time he took a team on his back and threw a rope for the go ahead TD

He was 20-19 as a starter here over the course of 4 years. It's time to stop coping. His box score was identical to what he was putting up here. All of this to barely beat a team that had a losing record last year, but y'all want to act like he's become a world beater.

Sickeningly disingenuous.

If he hadn't been here arkansas wouldn't have won 15 of the 20 games that they won. It's not coping it's just fact.

He was the worst QB in the conference without Burks

Yeah whatever would we have done without being strapped to a one dimensional QB for multiple years. I don't even want to fathom that horror.

Surely we wouldn't have been able to find some random guy from a minor conference that could double his production immediately. Seems impossible.

I also have no clue where the "Rocket slimmed down" narrative came from. That dude is every bit as big as he was last year, if not bigger. Even his running motion is labored. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him as a second battering ram to compliment Jackson, but that cat did not slim down.

I liked and appreciated kj and rocket and enjoyed watching them play and wish them well from now on. They helped pull us out of the sewer and one bad year won’t erase that.

Yeah that's just not true.

He's not close to holding any single season, single game, or avg per season/game records for Arkansas QBs

He holds the career passing and TD by virtue of playing quite a few more games than anyone else.

His passing yards per game played and passing TDs per game are both below Felipe Franks, for example.

KJ played a lot of games, that's about it
