Ok, so who here expects our team to be much improved next season? We will take a step back at WR. Not sure if our OL will be improved or not. We have very little depth at LB. We're losing depth on the DL. We're going to have to go JUCO/Grad transfer hunting to fill immediate holes or start young guys and take our lumps.

This shouldn't be happening after 4 years of program building. Blaming assistant coaches is chicken shite. Bert's the boss. He should be aware that Pittman wasn't recruiting enough good OL. He should be aware that Siegrest's DL has had no real pass rush in back to back seasons and can't contain a running QB. He should know that we barely have SEC talent at LB. The $4MM man owes us more than 4 blowout losses in season 4.

We recruited 5 Lb's last year

We have JCorn coming back at WR along with Enlow, Jones,McClure,Pettway and Deon Stewart

Oline might still be an issue but we'll be in another bowl game heading into 2018

Not that we can't be spectacular next season but I wouldn't use "we'll make a bowl game" as a great argument. I mean you inky need 6 wins to go bowling and St least half are rent a wins if not 4, depending on ooc schedule. So with that in mind you only have to actually have to earn maybe 3 games, and only 2 in conference, to go bowling. Just going bowling isn't something we should shoot for imo.

Agree 100%

Nutt inherited a good team recruited by Danny Ford

Admittedly I'm a little young so when I was coming of age Nutt was already there. Don't know if I would agree or disagree.

Petrino inherited a 8-5 team that should've went 10-2

No no no, a thousand times no. Unless you mean Nutt should have went 10-2 in his last year and not Petrino in his first

Lol it is not just the young fans that are a little displeased

I've said this too long. We're a team with poor Sr. leadership.

Ditto.

We haven't had any semblance of senior leadership this year outside of Morgan.

It probably doesn't help when our seniors haven't really been very good outside of Ledbetter and the receiving corps. Even the four year starters like Ellis and Skipper are emblematic of this problem, as one is a positional liability in terms of athleticism and the other is a terrible pass blocker and a penalty machine to boot.

Who? Buckle up hog fans. We lose a lot of seniors this year. If we're anywhere close to half decent next year it will be BECAUSE of coaching. Will BB's buyout be small enough to can him at the end of next year? I'm not calling for it at this point but it's a real possibility.

If I should be impressed with those receiver's you named just blame it on my ignorance.

So, we're still going to struggle at OL,LB, & DL. We either have to get Jucos or Grad Transfers or redshirts. Gonna be a rough season.

Nutt had DMAC, Felix and Hillis

No reason to go 8-5 that season except that Nutt was an idiot.

Said every single team in the nation about one position or another because of the 85 rule. The difference is that they're getting more quality and we aren't getting quality or quantity (which maybe required to snag all the diamonds in the rough) at the moment.

Not to say that we haven't gotten some quality as there are some great players on the roster but overall we're getting kids that aren't going to ever play a snap.

When we do get a kid we seem to want to cram him into some position where they weren't projected.

Furthermore WTF is the deal with our playbook? I feel like other teams figure out how to balance it or teach it better. We seem to constantly have someone struggling with our playbook.

With all that said i'm not that upset with Bielema and how he's preformed so far. I'm disappointed in our contract with him however, it's setup for him to flee and us to be stuck. I do see where we are getting better and growing. Our team is definitely still with the coaches although I'd like to see different coaches possibly atleast on the DL though for sure.

Offensively I think we're doing great with the exception of Oline.

Give michael smith whatever he wants to stay. Enos can also have whatever he wants.

OL sucks and I wouldn't be disappointed if that changed but I wouldn't be completely disappointed if he gives a strong show recruiting wise to keep him for another year and see what he can do with his players.
