Apparently, we are a cut above almost every other team in America. Most teams struggle replacing an NFL caliber, 3-year starter at QB. Most teams would miss 2 NFL caliber RBs. Most teams would have growing pains replacing 3 offensive lineman and All-American tight end. But us...? Staring at 7 or 8 wins and the delusional natives are restless, and those of us with perspective are "settling for mediocrity".

It's not the losses. It's how we're losing. But I understand that a lot of you can only sleep at night if you can put everyone who isn't sucking Bert's dick into a nifty box of delusional crazies.

It would be nice not to have to rebuild after a 7-5 regular season.

And just because some aren't happy doesn't mean they are freaking out...or have unrealistic expectations. Which is the point I'm responding to.

Agreed but I don't see how what the OP said warranted your response.

Every school loses players, this is the last season of having any player with ties to Petrino except for Austin Allen.

No more excuses after this year. It'll be 5 years in and everything in the program will have rotated out and been turned over. It'll be exactly what Bert wants and planned. It's all on his shoulders 100% now.

Oh and Joe Wickline's kid picked UNC, guess he wasn't rated low enough for us.

It's kinda similar to LSU last year. We weren't mad that our team was 9-3 (10-3 if they played Mcneese St) it was the fact that they got progressively worse. They lost by 14, 17, then 21.

Same thing with you guys. Realistically Arkansas is between an 8-9 win team with the current talent level. Maybe sneak off a 10th win in a bowl win or upset. But in no way should they be losing to Auburn by 53, or LSU by 30 at home. It's just different when your team is getting its arse handed to them and not even being competitive.

1. We have a good QB who was ready to play. Kudos to Bert for that.

2. Only Alex Collins played last year. Williams and Whaley are fine at RB.

3. We had to replace those lineman with a grad transfer and a converted defensive tackle because of Bert's shite recruiting in an area that is supposed to be his forte.

4. Sprinkle is fine at TE, but he's obviously not HH. Once again, not the reason we're getting annihilated.

5. We returned everyone on the D-line and have regressed. We have a historically bad run D and that's Bert's fault.

Like a lot of people have said, they're pissed at how we're losing. We're not tough. We're not physical. Our coach mouths off all the time about that being the strength of his teams. Our team has no heart and quits in games if they get hit in the mouth much like the JLS team did. Bert is obviously going to be the coach moving forward, but he needs to make significant staff changes. If we remain shite and soft after that happens then fatass should go.

I've said this too long. We're a team with poor Sr. leadership.

We've got to find strong leaders to emerge.

Blame Fatass Pittman for that

Blame Rory Segrest and Robb Smith for that

Bert is the CEO he makes the hires and trusts the position coaches to do their job.

Changes will be made, yet again

This. We understand that the team is replacing key pieces from last year. But we also acknowledge that is sucks to have to rebuild when you haven't really done anything worth bragging about

Bret acted like a huge crybaby when that happened. It's not like he made that change voluntarily. Shows that he was pleased with the way things were going there despite how bad our O-line depth obviously is.

Go back to 2004 and 2005

Nutt had a 5-6 and 4-7 record those two years, when the West was bad.

We haven't stooped that low yet.

Too bad that Bobby let his dick get in the way to see how his shitty recruiting was about to bite him in the arse in the 2013 and 2014 seasons

This.

The reasons we are losing are pretty plain: Not up to snuff on both lines. Defensive line is evidently an illusion, we have bodies that 'look' the part. Part of the blame there certainly goes on coaching.

The OL just got caught with their pants down this year. Not enough players that are SEC ready. Ragnow is bonafide. Skipper is okay, too many liabilities at 6-10 though, and too many penalities.

The deficiencies there lay squarely on recruiting.

What do either Petrino or Nutt have to do with what I said?

I thought the fuss about that was that Pittman didn't want to address the team in person

Bert inherited a fricked up mess

Nutt inherited a good team recruited by Danny Ford

Petrino inherited a 8-5 team that should've went 10-2

Millennials always want the QB or the coach to be shite canned.
