Only proof needed to know that Gus would be a bad hire for Arkansas is throughout any active thread on this board. Every single one devolves into this petty infighting, and people are willing to sign us up for this long term for some reason.

I hate when this happens but yesterday at Thanksgiving during football talk my nephew said a few words that hit home for me in regards to Gus. Something more eloquent but to the effect of: I was thinking about it and couldn’t really remember why I hated him and how he’d (nephew) come to accept the idea of Gus.
So after 20ish hours I’ve let that roll around in my head and I too have come to the point where I’ll accept him.
I do know why I don’t like him but admittedly it was amplified by irrational stuff and I’ve always known that. (A topic all it’s own, it’s sports- isn’t it appropriate to get out your irrationality there?) He’ll never be my first choice AND I don’t think we need to bend over backwards for him AND I’ll still exorcist vomit if we give him any power in deciding the AD AND I want him held accountable (not given excuse after excuse) by all fans but I will accept the hire.
I realize no one cares but typing it out is like going to confession. I’ll say my 2 Hail Mary’s now.

Oh I know what you mean. I don't particularly want Gus but I'll take him. At this point he has to be an improvement over the Bielema years.
Hell, even if he isn't he'll at least be a change of pace on the sidelines.
