We seem to have somehow picked the only "highly regarded" coach from the previous carousel who cant get anything together or right. UCLA has been a dumpster fire for 30 years and Chesney has them righted and in the top 5. I know situations are different, but we could have been competent and competitive with an actual plan and coach ready to enact it.
I'll give Ryan his 3 years because we cant afford to owe even more buyout, if we can get rid of Cramsey and Hunter. But if there's any indication of zero staff changes, I'll be deciding to not renew the family seats. I have kept and paid for them for 12 years and inherited them from my father who had them since the first major upgrade when we got to the SEC. But I cant stand to pay for the product I continue to be disappointed by every weekend.

A change in OC is obvious, listening to Silverfield in the pressers it is obvious a change isn't going to happen because they ran these plays 1000s of times and the only stopped working this year so it can be the coaches causing them not to work.
Only way out of this mess is a large drop in season ticket renewals and donations to the foundation.

frick that. Fire the Chancellor, the AD, and the coach. It's time to clean house no matter what the cost. If you're worried about financials it makes zero sense to hang on to any of them because the financials are spiraling down the toilet.
The Waltons want their Chancellor
The AD is a lazy fricking idiot
The coach is a total fraud that says all the right things.
It's time to join the modern era which means they all have to go.

Our AD’s main priority in coaching searches is avoiding a bidding war. That’s why we miss out on any coach other schools want and end up with former O-line coaches.

Understatement.

Did the rest of you see the email floating around between HY and the Chancellor?
HY is telling him a firm has been hired to figure how to message the fans to accept the situation. The firm will get back to us in 6 to 9 months. They aren't trying to fix the problem, they just want to deflect.
Everyone has to go right now no matter the cost.

Fans need to be more assertive.

All involved are making the most money they have ever made in their careers.
Of course they can see where there is a problem, everything is going great for them.

Fans keep attending these shite shows at home. Until fans quit attending, changes won't come.
I had my fill of it after the 2018 season.
Stop going to fricking games you retards.
It isn't that hard.

Their response will be "I support my Hogs no matter what". What they don't realize is they are supporting people who don't give a shite.

"by gawd we bought season tickets" crowd is killing this program.
Waiting in line, afraid of losing their seats fans.
Or smart like Rev, selling tickets to the idiots for profit.
Goat move

I'd say its more on the suite ticket buyers than your average fan.
Those corporate retards don't care, its budgeted in their annual expenses. Would not surprise me if there's still a wait list to get one.
Vickery was on the buzz this morning. His theory is HY has begged the BoT to keep him on til he can exit after season/during his playoff committee spotlight. HY moves on to some type of admin job somewhere so we dont have to fire him.
Makes sense that he would want that, but I dont see any reason to give him any rope unless our basketball coach is demanding it.
Vickory also claims HY has directly lied to the BoT recently.

Bert was the last highly regarded coach we've hired in football and if we had done our due diligence we would have realized that Bert was all smoke and mirrors and it was really Alvarez running the show.
Nobody wanted Chad Morris. Plenty of people wanted Pittman... just as their O-line coach. Nobody in their right mind wanted retread Bobby Petrino. And not even Memphis really wanted Silverfish and he was their HC at the time.
We've settled for nobodies and damaged goods for a long time now and it is showing.

Its absolutely retarded how HY has handled coaching searches.
Its like he would rather underpay on salary for lesser known coaches and then fire/buyout than pay more up front and hope for long term gains.
From what I have heard Petrino was forced on both him and Sam last year. Other than that, what head coach has had the funding to hire decent assistants?

Maybe because at his next job interview, he can brag that the Arkansas program didn't lose money.

There's still quite a few Petrino fans lurking.

Sadly, reality bites.
I gave up our season tickets that my grandfather started buying in 1961 when JFB was just showing signs of becoming a winner.
I gave them up after Chad Morris’s first year when I called to see about getting some seats moved and giving up a few of them. When I was told my “donation” needed to go up even though I was giving up tickets I let them know that I’d be just as happy, maybe happier, to let them keep all 17 seats and save my donation. As I stated then…you were 2-8 with beatdowns by D2 programs….if I ever do decide to attend another game I can get better seats on Stubhub.
Never been to another game in Fayetteville since.
Now it’s getting hard to even justify watching a YouTube replay of the game. Kinda feel bad for so called “experts” like Biddy and DJ Williams who are trying to make a living reporting on the stinking pile that is the Razorback football program.
This isn’t Silverfield’s fault. He’s not the answer, but sure isn’t the problem.
