I also would like to announce that I am declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft. I'd like to thank the coaches, players, and fans, and will always remember my years in Fayetteville as some of the best of my life.
Please respect my decision.
I am shocked! You told me just last week you were declaring for the NBA.

Clary started as a walk on and played for 5 seasons at multiple positions. Stayed with the team through some pretty bad times

What else was he going to do? He would have been benched anywhere else. We were that bad.

Yeah, maybe Ty wasn't the most outstanding lineman to ever come through, but be was able to get us out of a jam at just about any position on the line if called upon. Very valuable in that respect. I appreciate his contributions. If the NFL doesn't work out, he would probably make a good OL coach in time.

I don’t like the making fun of kids who played and probably shouldn’t have because of crappy recruiting.
It isn’t his fault he wasn’t as skilled as he should have been to play. It’s crap coaches not recruiting better talent. Plus I never heard of anything negative about him off the field.

Hear, hear. He did what he could when we needed him and you can't ask for much more than that. Better a kid that tries hard despite a lack of talent than a kid with tons of talent who can't be arsed to give minimal effort.

This.
We've had our fair share of dumbasses come through this program. By all accounts, Clary has done everything asked of him and weathered the storm through 3 head coaches, two of which were all timers in terms of their shittiness.
I wish him well and appreciate his contributions.

Looks like things are almost done shaking out. John Stephen Jones and OLM Shane Clenin and Ryan Winkel are no longer with the team.

JSJ was an legacy guy and I'm not going to knock that. Sometimes those work out and sometimes they don't. He didn't work out. From what I have heard, and I could very easily be wrong, mentally he got the system fine... but physically he was not an SEC level QB.
JSJ might do well at a G5 level school and he'd probably tear it up at the FCS level. Another player I wish well where ever he winds up at.

Being as short as JSJ is just a major disadvantage for a QB. Not saying it can't be overcome but it takes elite talent

Andrew Parker to the portal.
Drew Sanders at MLB and Bumper at WLB.

Just when Parker (probably) would have garnered more PT. Guess he feels Sanders eliminated that.

Nothing we've seen from Parker to this point shows he would've got more PT though.

Will be interested to see how EA sports handles the transfer portal in the NCAA game next summer. Recruiting was always a fun but weird aspect of the game. So ready for that stupid thing to be back in my life.
