I don’t believe St.John ever technically entered the portal. Once Pittman got wind of he may be entering portal, he put a stop to it.

These guys are gone. Pittman has pretty strict rules on not coming back on the team once entering the portal officially. They’re officially in the portal.

If didn't want them then he isn't going to put the effort in getting them back.

One thing we should remember entering the portal doesn’t mean they’re gone it means they might be exploring options.

If your ole lady tells you she is exploring other options do you take her back?

If she comes back you were the second option and she really doesn't want to be there.

I’m not buying the theory that Brooks and Foucha were pushed out. Nor is there any real argument that we have the players to replace them. Without them, this will be a bottom P5 backend.

Maybe 1-2 SEC players on the roster outside Slush and Cat. Recruiting hasn’t added any pieces the past 3 years. The portal is also void of any reliable talent.

Struggling to grasp how this defense will take a step forward with the recent developments.

Then you believe a rumored story of them leaving because they hated a position coach? They aren't leaving because of NIL.

We are getting a taste of how unwatchable College Football is going to become. People were like hell yeah! NIL and Transfers! Why would I watch semi-pro ball when I watch a better product on Sunday.
I watch college athletics either because my team is really damn good or because I get invested in the individuals that are part of the program and like to see them represent my university. If you get rid of the latter (Eric Musselman) you have to be great or nobody will give a damn. I’ll be worried about Arkansas football if it heads in that direction. If I want to watch mediocre football that I’m not connected to it will be on Sunday.

I’m not concerned with any rumor floating around. These are 21 year old kids and anything is in the realm of possibilities. I think the likeliest answer is a bigger school got to them. I’m not naive enough to think the UofA is a glamorous destination.

They wouldn't start at the bigger schools. They aren't good enough to be poached.

If this true then interest in football is now zero.

That horse is a different color. This is a business decision.

If an employee tells their boss they are exploring other options, does the boss take them back? It happens all the time. Maybe they wanted a raise or vacation time. Again, it’s a business decision.

So yes, I could see Pittman taking them back. It’s business not personal.

It’s hard to say but if they don’t want to be here, find those that do.

Then what top schools are poaching them? I can see Hornsby which given the luck at Arkansas will be at an SEC West school.

But since this is happening then why should I care? Nothing will stop it and Arkansas can't do anything a bout it.

This is what everyone wanted and now they are complaining that Arkansas just needed an advantage. Now it is here and it will end up being worse for Arkansas than ever before. Did anyone think Arkansas would benefit from this?
