We have some major coaching moves being made around the country and league. If Bielema can recruit a few more studs and just keep his system in place we are in a good spot. Having the same coach for more than just 3 years will give this program the consistency it needs. I think the next few years will be solid

Good post Ham. I totally agree. We appear to have a coach that will be here awhile. Need to get some key players and make a run.

All the coaches are out on the road the entire week. Hopefully they're doing some Flipmas shopping for us.

Koehler and Boyd open up another 2 scholarships. So we could sign up to 23-24 now I believe. Let's go ahead and process Hedlund and get 25 slots open.

Thurman opens up a spot as well.

Remember when we lost to Toledo and it appeared we were the biggest dumpster fire in the SEC.

Then Auburn imploded
A&M forgot how to play offense
Mizzou became the biggest dumpster fire losing their QB, school admins, and coach
Florida lost their QB to PED violation
Ole Miss lost to Memphis
South Carolina lost Spurrier, and the citadel game
LSU blown out three games in row and then put on a clinic of how not to handle a potential coaching change
State got destroyed in their super bowl, they lose Dak and possibly Mullins

Thurmans spot is from the 105 though not 85 or 25 in a class.

He was on scholarship at one point in time. Was it not renewed this year?

Pretty sure Thurman counts against the 85. They gave him a full ride before last season.

Which is something they need to be using in the recruiting pitch that not only will the U. Arkansas take care of you after your playing days, they'll give scholarships to your non-athlete kids to play on the football team even if you didn't play football.

I won't get my hopes up. But Enos seems like he'd be a good recruiter.

Yea he was on scholarship after being a walk on for at least two years IIRC.

If we start off hot next year instead of waiting until October then I think we have a shot to compete for the West. A ton of upheaval in the SEC and college football as a whole right now.

I'm not confident about anything until I see improvement on D and how badly our offense will miss BA.

With a new QB I just don't see this. Remember us in the beginning of the year?
Expect something similar all of next season.

I think some of us, maybe the majority don't realize AA's potential under Enos.

BA made HUGE strides this year under Enos' tutelage.

I think AA will come out ready to play in September.

I agree with this .... Ricky Town was brought in for a good reason. I think it's between him and Peavey personally. Rafe may be the dual threat guy that Enos really wants.

Peavey will likely never play a meaningful snap for Arkansas.

It will be between Austin Allen and Town

Agree on Peavey. For whatever reason, he doesn't seem to have developed. Maybe he'll have an amazing offseason, but anyone who gets to regularly attend practices and has seen the QB performance there have all indicated that Peavey just doesn't look that good (nor does Story to a lesser extent).

Like you, I think it's between AA and Town. Feel bad for Peavey, and I'd love to see us work him into a different role.

Our D will have another offseason to work

Hopefully Ricky Town is ready to play, if not we will be in trouble
