Time will tell how good of a coach he is. However, his first full year of recruiting was the best we have had in a long time. Maybe ever. That is at least a positive step in the right direction. Now let's see what they can do with it.

God forbid we want to see a coach do his job for more than 9 months before we want the axe. I'll be sure to start off hating this new hire so I'll be "right" no matter what. Has to get fired some time right?

I'm not sure how I escaped posting in every single one of these bumped threads lately, but I was taking a "wait and see" approach myself. I thought we could be good eventually, not gonna lie. Apparently I just never expressed it.

It was an idiotic hire from the get go and has proven to be as much.
The dude is a POS clown, on the level of Bert but nerdy and dorkier.
People on here legit didn’t think it was a problem he was going to TX EVERY Friday to watch his son, in the middle of SEC football.
It was unreal and those that criticized were also unfairly chastised.
We all just need to koombaya in that the nightmare appears to be over and hopefully have faith that HY makes a similar well thought out hire like he did for basketball.
