He has three more years on his contract after this one, they'll give him that at least. He'll either get an extension or retire after 2021-22. You're right though, they aren't about to fire him for having a young team. Smart people aren't as emotional like most of the folks on this board.

Because we could get a coach of Barnes' quality. Tennessee is not a better basketball program than Arkansas. Neither is Georgia, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, LSU, Auburn, etc..., but they all have better coaches. Hell, A&M is a bad basketball program, but Texas A&M's coach has made two sweet sixteens in the past three years and their fans want him fired.

Sounds like a CMA clone.
I'm down to get a new coach but don't throw out names like Rick fricking Barnes, he's the exact same coach as Anderson.
