So, because of year 2... in Year 3 CCM seat will be hot, even with a young team.

But, in year 8, CMA's seat isn't hot, even with a young team.

And, I hear... Tell me if I am wrong please, that it is easier to win, reload, recruit a better team in basketball than football....

Stick to sucking Mike's pecker Stonehog, you're better at that.

If we miss a bowl, yes. You think his seat wouldn't be hot going into year three without making a bowl? That would be his make or break year. This isn't even controversial, you're just obsessed with Mike so you're bringing up basketball in a football thread.

One of the mods on the baseball forum on the other board is saying he doesn't expect Connor Noland to ever suit up for the football hogs ever again. This may be another spot that will have opened up after spring drills.

Is this strictly a thing because he doesn't want to play football anymore or does he know he's going to be the odd man out at QB?

I think he will realize that the dedication to be a big time QB, and trying to split time with baseball is impossible. That he will choose the path of least resistance. Which will be baseball.

This is the only example i could think of as well that would fit. So one example does not really mean much to me.

He has also decided football is his main squeeze. Hopefully noland does the same.

Lol just had to pull it out since you said impossible. And remains to be seen what kind of talent Noland is on the diamond at the college level. Guess we’ll see after this Spring

Murray doesn't pitch though.

Big difference playing football and outfield and football and also trying to be a pitcher.

Pitching is hard enough on the arm.

Jameis Winston did it I think. But you don’t see it very often.

I agree, Rev. Mike is a great person, a great representative of the University and on and on.
He was hired (I think) to rebuild a basketball program back into perennial contenders for the SEC title and decent to good runs with a deep run now and then.
He has had 8 years, and we haven't whiffed good success.
Mediocre at best.
I just don't feel the University is getting what they are paying for.
Time to consider a change.

Seeing some whispers that it’s a medical thing but Danny also put out an update that his sources expect Hammonds to be back in May. Who knows what’s up with that situation.
