Robert Moore is a god.

We gotta do something with Martin defensively. The dude just cannot make a throw to first without putting it in the dirt.

And now the season is suspended

Maybe Casey Martin can learn to throw to the 1B in practice like most other normal SS's can do in the meantime.

And hit a slider

Wouldn't hurt to develop a pitcher or two in the meantime.

Man, it sucks we probably won't be able to see Kjerstad in a Hog uniform again

Kjerstad was on fire so far this year. I'm pissed.

According to Kendall Rogers it’s happening

This may not be politically correct to say but I don't really see that helping us much. We don't have many seniors making an impact and juniors will be gone regardless if they're good enough. Maybe some of them will decide to stay another year because they aren't happy with the abrupt end to this season but that's a tough choice turning down money.
Guess that's not really the point though. I'd just hate to have a mediocre senior back for another year that takes a spot away from a freshman coming in.

This. I love anyone that plays for the Hogs, but I am personally ready to see a couple of pitchers move on at the very least.

No this is pretty much spot on. I hope they do the right thing for the players sake, but it won't benefit us in the least. DVH is like the Saban of baseball when it comes to making the numbers work out. We won't be giving up spots for newcomers by keeping anyone around just becuase of this potential change.

Where it might is with a Jr that goes in the 10th or later. They can come back still classified as a Jr and maintain their leverage of having the option to return to school. A guy like Goodheart won’t feel like he has to go.
It’s going to create a cluster frick for sure

Kopps and Burton will be shown the door regardless, possibly a few more players as well.

Ryan Folkes, who covers the Omahogs, lost his son to miscarriage a week ago or so and the entire baseball team signed a card and sent flowers.
