Final week of the season so let's check in on all the coaching name hot board after the past weekend.

Lane Kiffin - OM

Positives as of earlier this season used massive NIL collective to be "in the hunt" for the CFP.

Results Loss to 6-5 Florida to no longer be in the hunt or you can say the loss to 4-7 15th in SEC Kentucky took them out of the hunt.

Coach Prime - CO

Positives- coach prime things thoughts he can attract more than his sone and Hunter from the HS ranks (yet to be seen) to go along with massive portal recruiting

Results Loss to 5-6 Kansas to drop of the hunt for the CFB the loss to 6-5 Nebraska doesn't look great on the year either.

Cignetti - IU

Positives - wins according to google

Results blown out by Ohio State during the first and only test of the joke of a schedule they have this year. No google needed.

Also dropping out of CFP Bama, LSU, Aggy.

Smoke and mirrors: Aggy 2 and 14 in road games over the past couple of years. SMU due to playing in the ACC. ND since they beat Army and Navy.

Pittman

Positives reach bowl eligibility for the 4th time in 5 yeas.

Results met the bar of bowl eligibility for the 4th time in 5 years.

But there is some truth to what Dale posted (Unbelievable ... i am agreeing with Dale) perspective man.

I want, wish for much more as well. But IBD if we haven't been in this situation in like FOREVER!

According to his contract it is, performance bonuses start at wins exceeding 6 for each win.

Petrino's HC contract performance bonuses were for BCS bowls, SEC championship, and National championship for comparison.

This year was the year if we were going to do anything. Conference is down and we missed the big dogs on the schedule

6-6 is fine but would like to reach for a bit more when the conference is not great. We only have these chances 3/10 years or so

Arkansas had the 11th ranked SOS going into the game yesterday.

While 11 seams weak and tame when the SEC offices have conditioned the fanbase to top 5 SOS it isn't the same as most big12, acc, or big10 teams sos.

SOS is relative based on the season

Yeah we are playing the best teams in the country, but we always do. Those teams aren't that good this year

Texas has to be one of the softest top teams ever. They have an inept QB

Ole Miss is fools gold

LSU sucks

Vandy got a QB and they're suddenly world beaters? Not buying it

SEC is down bad

I'm just preparing myself for another 6 win season next year under Pittman. Hoping HY will prove me wrong, but I doubt it.

I just hope we get to 6 wins. Schedule gets harder

It's going to be like that from now on as both the portal and NIL make chaos.

The Bama dynasty that has played a role in the creation of the portal and NIL is dead.

Surely we can hope more than 6 wins as the best case scenario next season.

6 wins is likely a pipe dream with next year's schedule and complete apathy onset with Pittman back.

Did the SOS cause us to lose to 3-8 (0-8) Okie State?

Bama didn’t play a role in its creation. The pandemic had more to do with that.

And it won’t be chaos as soon as someone realizes they been doing this for 100 years in a separate league that plays the same sport. Is it lame that they can’t be signed to a multi year binding contract? Yes. But I am sure there is a shifty lawyer trying to come up with that.

Bama absolutely played a role.

The dynasty was killing college football as the NCAA overlooked the massive cheating that was involved.

Everyone was tired of the dominance and the BS that is the NCAA playing favorites. Something was needed to bring them down and make them mortal and the NCAA completely irrelevant.

Bama and Saban fought against it and lost.

NIL was coming no matter what but came much faster than it should with the BS of the NCAA and Bama.

No it didn’t. UCLA had more to do with it since Obannon played for them. These were Supreme Court decisions not the NCAA getting back at bama.
