.. To do what needs to be done.

BTW, Willie was 4-5 this year and 9-12 overall.

Chad is 4-17, zero conf. Or P5 wins and still has a job.

One program cares about winning. One doesn't... Just see Bucknam still having a job.

Taggert is paying the price for Jimbo's handling of the program.

Side note Riley lost 11 games his fort two years at Nebraska while Frost just lost his 13th and ucf soldiers on.

Imagine how legit Notre Dame would be now had a small inconsequential lie not been on O'Leary's resume.

Maybe this will start a frenzy and our AD will pull the trigger, like he's currently being pressured to do so. Clearly FSU saw some advantage to removing Taggart early, could they send our AD's office some bullet points or maybe even a flow chart?

One can dream.

Only matters if you make an early hire post season, even then in regard to the first signing day.

Odds are FSU has their man in principle, which is good as long as someone better doesn't also have him in mind other wise you end up with Jon pelphrey/Chad Morris type hire.

Basically it is better to get it right then to do it first.

Watch some program above us in the pecking order now snatch up Norvell causing us to whiff yet again on a guy who would have crawled to Fayetteville for our job.

There's rumor on Hogville that a Razorack Foundation has called a board meeting today.

That would mean they are discussing buyout financing. Let's hope they get the votes to give HY the go ahead on the firing.

I know nothing, but I'll predict that if we lose by an two score margin (basically a replay of the North Texas game), Morris will be canned next Sunday.

They *might* fire him anyway if we lose in a close game, but if it isn't close I'm saying they will.

Is this where I append my post with "Porkatarian out"?

Honestly, if they're using f-ing Wetsern Kentucky as a make or break game, then what the hell are we doing. A win is seriously a nothing. It's embarrassing Chad even still has a job.

I'm hearing a loss in any fashion is fireable, and really that SHOULD be the case. National pundits are now saying that Chad will be fired after the game if we lose to WKU.

We need to make a move and start trying to get our guy locked up in principle. I'm worried FSU will go after Norvell and have a head start. Or they'll go after Mark Stoops, then UK will go after Leach since they have a connection and he'd probably take it.

We just need to accept that this will be the new normal with the early signing period and make the big boy move.

It's like Avengers Endgame; out of 14 million possible outcomes there's only 1 that gets us the win, and (spoiler alert) Iron Man has to die to get us there even if it sucks.

Leach would for sure jump to Kentucky. The Stoops to FSU thing is apparently getting some steam. It does make sense given his connections there, but Norvell or Kiffin also seem like totally logical fits.

Let me get this out.... I wouldn't have a problem with Kiffen overall, however I see this ending not so well for us.

He is a good OC, and a decent coach, but also an impetuous child...

Leach would absolutely frustrate coaches in this league, especially the Miss Schools, TAMU, and win some that would absolutely astonish some folks, and then lose to someone who game planned against him for weeks that he shouldn't. But, we would be tough, no more cuddly crap.

Norvell would be my choice period... Or Clark at UAB...

But I wouldn't rule out Leach at all...

I think Leach might be my #1 right now. He's a hardass who doesn't baby his players, which is something we desperately need to get rid of this loser mentality.

Definitely not, I know there's a lot of big name guys that are high on him. I'm just worried that UK gets the jump on us and he takes it, after being the guy we set our sights on all along.

We all know how things tend to fall apart when our first choice falls through. I don't know if Leach IS the first choice, just that this would totally be our luck. Then by the time that all shakes out Norvell is gone too. That would be the most "Arkansas" outcome that comes from waiting.

Maybe I just have PTSD and Yurachek will be different though.

Kiffin is a very up and down coach and, yes, is a total child. He's probably lower on the list for these reasons but when he was teamed with Briles as OC, he was great.

He may be too risky at this point he's started the fire that burned programs to the ground in Tennessee and USC and Oakland.

Is why Bill Clark should be so high in everyones list.

BTW, I just heard that FSU pulled the trigger on Taggart because they were in line to lose $10 million in ticket sales next year because attendance is down an average of 15,000 per game.

I would assume the numbers at Arkansas are similar or worse.

Just pull off the band aid now.
