he location and demographics of NWA will always be a hurdle to overcome.

ehhhhh that has changed also. Just last week there were a large number of kids that signed D-1 scholarships. The most I can ever recall in the early signing period.

Now only 2 signed to play in Fayetteville a girl golfer from Rogers and I think a girl basketball player from Fayetteville.

There were 2 highly regarded top shelf players that signed out of state, one was a record setting swimmer that went with A&M because she's in awe of their swimming coach. Then a volleyballer that went to Pepperdine.

Fayetteville's football program is sending a QB to Wake Forest and a DT to Alabama. Alabama has scored more DL out of NWA the past 3 seasons than Arkansas has in a decade.

Now if Little Rock could produce football players at the rate they produce basketball players then the Razorbacks could have a legit shot at being Top 15 year in year out at minimum.

Arkansas has never pulled from Mississippi ever. We've been hauling in Louisiana better than ever under Bielema, not sure what you're getting at there. Texas is a crap shoot with so many schools.

You'd think with Lance Alworth being from MS Broyles would've parlayed that into a serious recruiting pipeline.

but naaaaaaaahhh.

Yeah because if I didn't go to school there I can't root for them. I hope you don't watch any professional sports because I doubt you played any. Also Noone actually denied anything that I said they just name called, laughed and circle jerked on each other but you guys can be happy with 8-4 as the peak of Arkansas football. I won't

Dude, is this your life? You seem so hateful and bitter, full of animosity and hate.

Come down from the dark cloud you are on man!

Either that or... SUCK IT UP BRAH!

If anyone here expected anything more than 8-9 wins at the most, well... we drank way too much koolaid for sure.

This is why no one will take you seriously. You act like everyone is super pleased with this season. I can disagree with you on points but still not be happy. Stop lumping everyone into two categories.

Wow. Everyone took this the wrong way. Yes most years we will be a 7 or 8 win team. But that shouldn't be out oeak. As in we should be 6,7,8 wins then every 3 or 4 9 or 10. But what you guys don't understand is with beilama we are leaning at 8. Maybe 9 with a bowl and getting blown out. That not a good sign when in your best year your getting blown out 4 times

Lance Alworth

Only reason Alworth came was because he was married, Ole Miss would not let him come as a married player.

We are recruiting (on paper) as well or better than we historically have.
The big problem is that we can finish 20th in the nation recruiting, and still be 7th or 8th in the SEC.

We are also able to redshirt some guys now instead of throwing them to the wolves immediately.

Though we don't recruit many five stars, if given time, Bret can develop them. There's a potential for this system to get rolling and be very successful.

Before 2010 like every year? ? Jesus are you 12

Went back to check this and started with 2009. Ole miss south Carolina and miss state all ranked ahead of us according to 247 composite. We did edge out atm though by 10 points....

This.

In fact, we can finish in the top 10 in the nation and still be in the bottom half of the west

We will never recruit well consistently because we just don't have the population to support great in-state recruiting.

2008 we had a strong class for 6th in sec.

2007 everyone but atm on the list beat us.

So while we were out recruiting aTm it's almost like they had a major event happen to propel them ahead of us....maybe they switched conferences and it unlocked more of their potential recruiting targets

Patiently waiting for the redshirt/walk-on program to be a significant contributor to not getting blown the frick out.. Repeatedly. Maybe another 4 years.
