I guess they already do in football as of late anyway. And if Chavis is coming to join Morris then we’d have two A & M alums in our coaching ranks.
Is this a good thing or I guess if you can’t beat them then you may as well join them?

But they are still better than us and one of those coaches is coming here. I’m not feeling real good about all this during this season where cheer is supposed to abound.

I just wonder how many games we are going to be able to win next season when the opposing teams hang 55 points on us each game.

Bruh, we just have to score 56.
Look, it can't really get any worse than it has been. At least we know our defense should be able to get pressure on an opposing QB again. Pair that with the recruiting pipeline that should open up in Texas again and I think we'll do alright. Nobody is expecting to have Bama or Auburn's defense I hope.

I guess the real question is whether he’ll be able to replicate his success as DC at Tennessee and LSU with less talented players. I never thought that A & M’s defense was very good.
And while I agree we can’t get much worse on defense I hope that doesn’t become our standard for a hire.
