I didn’t watch the game but I see they blew out Kentucky. I had state penciled in as an easy W but this scares me. Did anybody watch the game and can report what both teams looked like?

Cats turned the ball over a bunch and just had poor all around effort. They played the 3-3-5 like we did but I don't think its their base defense. Not worried.

Kentucky looked like a team trying to play a defense they never run which is most likely true. I won’t lie that the score concerns me a bit but we runs a drop 8 defense week in and week out while Kentucky was essentially trying to play the Navy triple option and completely changing their defense for one week.

Leach has at times win games he shouldn't and lose games for no reason. It will be a tough game.

Kind of standard Leach, he over performs in these type of games and they will look terrible in a game they shouldn't

Miss St has a very good run defense, KJ will need to keep them honest. I highly doubt our defense will have a ton of success, bend but don't break will be important imo.

They may pass for 600 yards against Arkansas. Rogers can sling it

The scheduling dynamic and that we are comfy dropping 8 makes me feel better about this game

This is my concern with Cat out. Offenses don't fear our secondary like that might have in the past.

Nearly equal talent rosters, but Arkansas at home helps alot. Let's just pray the game is at night.

Our defense is also taylor made for that kind of offense. We struggle when a team can come our and punch us in the gut and just line up and play bully ball.

Muss State doenst do that.

Catalon missing, though, will hurt a ton.

I think you had us winning 9 games as well.

Odom doesn't game plan well. He just plays the same old 3 man front bend don't break defense.

Rogers will pick Slusher apart and State's run defense is really good.

If KJ and the receivers have a good game we can keep it close. If not, expect a 3 score L

We’ll be favored by 3-7. I wouldn’t pencil it in but I like our chances.

State ran the ball all game against Kentucky. Arkansas needs to get the offense going because State will probably score on every possession. Auburn has a lot better defense than State and so no excuse as of why they can't score any points to match State.

It’s going to be a tough game. Anyone who thought otherwise was looking at States team properly. They’ve gone on the road and won at aTm. They now beaten another ranked team in Kentucky. They’re a solid club and Arkansas will have to play a great game to win.

State ran the ball quite a bit yesterday, which is what concerns me the most. Hopefully with a week or so to get healthy, the defense can resemble the first 4 week defense we saw up front. If we get no rush and get gashed on the ground, Hogs will lose.

The problem with Catalon out is the secondary just isn't the same. This team needs a month off and two weeks isn't enough. I don't like this game and I feel that Arkansas has to pull off the stops to get a win.

I believed that it would come down to the Missouri game for a bowl. Winning the State game would feel like an upset.

I haven’t paid much attention to state since they lost to nc state. I hadn’t even realized they’d beaten Texas A&M as well. Just goes to show theirs no weeks off in the sec. I do think it’s kind of silly how some in this thread are acting like Mississippi state is going to boat race us next weekend. It will probably be a good game but we’re at home off a bye and Odom seems to have a pretty good idea on how to slow down the air raid. Hopefully catalon being out won’t hurt us too much
