So how does the team react following the next two games?

With losses expected tomorrow and next week (homecoming) how do we expect the team to react following those losses? Will there also be one more loss following those perhaps to LSU or Florida? I'm thinking so but hopefully that's it and it would be great to win one or two that we're not supposed to win.

That's a really good question. In that scenario I think we go ahead win the next five.

Almost game day against Bama and you wanna talk about what happens if we lose? Pardon me but that game hasn't been played yet and until it has Arkansas is going to win the fricking game!

Winning would make me happy for sure.

I think we match up better with Ole Miss than we did last year

Winning both would be fantastic, but let's be realistic here. If we win either it will be considered and upset, maybe not as big of one with OM, but they will still be considered the favorite.
I think the best we come out of this is POSSIBLY 1-1 with the win being (maybe) over OM. 0-2 is a very real possibility.
BTW, NWA folks - please don't rush the field and tear down goal posts if we somehow outscore Bama.

It happened in 1999 I was at The Brew Pub and proudly put my name on it.

I agree we play to win every game and frankly hope we run the table but I believe you picked us to lose five games and it looks like most posters picked us to lose 3-4 games out of the regular season games. So realistically if we're going to lose two more games then other than the two upcoming games which two games remaining on the schedule are we likely to lose?

I would take 1-1 in a heartbeat right now.
Where do I sign.
I got a bad feeling about tomorrow's game. Nine games in a row has put a beat down on my optimism.

Bert's teams have two consistent characteristics that give me optimism for the back half of the schedule:
- They always get better as the season progresses
- They don't let tough losses carry over, and he keeps them from getting down on themselves
Just look at last year. We drop an embarrassing game to Toledo and then proceed to get rolled at home by Texas Tech. When it looks like we're at the breaking point, we come out and play lights out against A&M when everyone thought we'd get pummeled. After another OT heartbreaker to A&M, we proceed to go on the road and beat up on Tennessee in Knoxville and then carry a lead late into the 3rd quarter against Bama in Tuscaloosa. After that, we won 6 of our remaining 7 games.
Say what you want about Bert, but his teams have the memory of a goldfish, which is a good thing.

We have to beat them again eventually. I don't think this is going to be the year, but then again, I'm never going to expect it even when it does happen.
