Heck yes you do. He has shown more composure against the Alabama defense than Austin did against Florida A&M.

He is the future and the future started tonight.

If Allen can lift his arm above his head, Bielema will throw him back in there.

I'm worried he might save Bert's job, but yes

I don't think the fans will allow that.

Agreed.

Austin acted like an a-hole whenever he's been hit by the likes of FAMU and New Mexico State. Meanwhile Bama was teeing off on Kelley and he kept popping up, looking to the sideline and regrouping for the next play.

Give it time.

On a side note J.B. on The Ticket was pretty much tearing into Kelley tonight saying how he just isn't ready and has a lot of work to do. Was really off on him.

I mean I went back and looked at the #s. He really wasn't that great. I just think Austin has been so bad that anything looks good to us right now.

He calls the Fayetteville HS games and is an admitted fanboy of Austin. Also, his shtick on his radio show as of late is to moralize to the fan base in a valedictory manner about calling for the backup to start. He's been at it for a few weeks, so it comes as no surprise that he would look for things to gripe about with regard to Kelley's performance.

I don't think anyone is kicking the tires on a Heisman campaign after tonight. However, it's pretty impressive for a freshman to go into Tuscaloosa unexpectedly, take an absolute pounding, and keep getting up and driving the team down the field. I want to say we were in the red zone 3 times, and we damn near scored before the half.

I don't think anyone could claim with a straight face that Austin would have kept his composure tonight, especially after the way he's played the last 10 games. Even Herbstreit and Fowler were overly complimentary of Kelley standing in the pocket with bodies flying all around him.

Cole Kelley should've started day 1 of this season, but I can understand going with Austin.

For the rest of the season, he should start, they'll probably go back to Allen as to help him boost his stock for the next level.

There are some Ty Storey fans that will pop up the minute Kelley has a real bad game.

Just like the Raferback fans who wanted Peavey to start. Rafe is battling for 2nd string at SMU now.

His mechanics need a lot of work and the decision on the interception was terrible but he's got exciting potential. Really fun to watch, be interested to see if he starts next week.
