He is certainly still on the table now that he didn't win the CWS title this year.

Why would we take the guy who is close to DVH’s age, just lost in his best year ever in the semi’s and was groomed by DVH? We need to stop being stupid loyalists and hire someone who has a will to win. How do you think Nolan won a title - he used what Eddie Sutton built and then had a relentless will to win. There was no “Aw shucks” in his lexicon. When the hell did we become holistic pussies and just roll over and want to accept losing in sports that we actually have a chance at competing in(at least as fans - screw HY and his agenda to ruin Arkansas Athletics)?

Wes is 54 Dave is 65 that isn't close in age. 
UGA never had the pitching this year, no front line ace and a mediocre bullpen/depth. Wes has not been able to get elite pitching despite being an elite pitching coach and the pub getting Paul Skenes his one year at LSU for a natty.

Okay. You’ve got me there - I think that’s actually a very spot on assessment. It is just so damned frustrating. And I’ll admit, it’s a shite in one hand, want in the other ethos for me. I’ve seen us be way better when there was way less available and that’s what’s frustrating down to the Walton’s not going Mark Cuban(literally a drop in their bucket with how fast their money makes money) when they say that they want to make not just NWA, but the Delta and the State a better place - when Razorback football is thriving, most things are in Arkansas.
