Also hearing possible hire for secondary coach is David Gibbs who just spent his first year at Missouri under Barry Odom. This guy has coached secondary in the NFL and been DC at Auburn, Texas Tech and Houston. Wrote a few stories about him when Bret had openings at DC.

horton was great at recruiting arkansas and we typically have one of those guys on the team(although we're paying pittman 3 mill a year for that now I thought since he loves us so much).. But I remember him not being that great a RB coach.

But he had been good everywhere else he’d been, including the first time he was here. Maybe he’s like Chavis and was just getting too old to be effective anymore.

So if we know caldwell is being let go, is that a sign an OC has been chosen and is giving pittman direction on the staff he wants

Pittman said on radio he’d like to name an OC by the weekend. Figure we should hear some rumors this week about who he’s interviewing.

Arkansas: Georgia quality control assistant Patrick Doherty, who had been with the Bulldogs since 2016, is expected to join the Razorbacks staff according to NWAOnline. The report adds that defensive backs coach Mark Smith, director of operations Randy Ross and assistant director of football operations SJ Tuohy will not be retained.

Ole Miss is hiring Randy Clements, Briles OL buddy. I figured Briles was out since we already named Davis, but maybe not?
