Just for reference Chizk was like 5-19 in 2 seasons at Iowa State before leaving for Auburn.
I think Campell would be excellent but just see how it’s possible with his buyout.

Every coach has the lesser total to leave vs to be fired.
Like all things in life it is also negotiable.
And it isn't on Arkansas to pay the coach's buyout, it is on the coach, anyone one remember what happened to Beilein when he left WVU for Michigan? He forgot to negotiate Michigan to pay the buyout in his contract and was left with the bill (which I believe he was able to negotiate way down).

Isn't that a Michigan thing, or am I misremembering? Same thing happened with RichRod when he left WVU for Michigan and WVU ended up taking him to court over his buyout. After Michigan declined to pick up the tab, he tried to claim WVU didn't keep some promises about facilities upgrades which in turn gave him a free out. They ended up settling but it was messy for a while. Michigan (shocker) had this antiquated notion that they were above paying buyouts for coaches.

Red flag anyone?
Maybe they can pay him on the way out the door ala his mentor Houston Nutt to OM.

I do too. I wish we could have hired him instead of Chert.
