so true. I have seen office romances, office affairs...you name it. It never leads to anything good professionally

Hell no, it doesn't. I guess if you work at a restaurant or whatnot, fine. But in a professional setting, NEVER works. There is no rule at my company that you can't date or marry, but once you start...one of you has to transfer departments.

I dated a chick I worked with...

I married her and it will be 10 years in January.

Just sayin...

Now if you're looking just to tap that arse then look elsewhere

I've seen both sides of this but need more info...

So she's in the same department, same job, just training you right now?

Once training is over, will she be equal to you or have a higher title/pay grade?

How long has she been there?

What type of company is this? I swear it sounds like HP in Conway. Most new hires are right out of college, specifically hot coeds and dorky dudes.

Anyway, few words of advice since I know you'll frick her soon. You've already fapped twice thinking about it and will be obsessed until it happens.

1. do not text her from a company phone or company instant messenger
2. do not have lunch with her and other folks. they'll catch on immediately.
3. update resume, bc if and when shite goes south, she will win.

If Drewbie was really born in 1991, yes. Start one now.

From my experience, dating someone in your department is just ripe for disaster. Unless both of you are mature enough to not make it weird when things go south. IMO, most 20-something people aren't (a lot of 30- and 40- somethings aren't either).

Dating someone outside your department is much more acceptable, although still risky.

I love these types of threads. I had the opportunity to participate in coitus with a coworker right out of college at a new job. she was sending pics and what not and had me come by her cubicle. showed me what she wasn't wearing under her work attire.

she was technically in a diff department. made for some fun lunches at her place which was a few minutes from our building.

Don't do it! When it is over, it is really uncomfortable for everyone else in the office. Because they all know what was happening.

Wow I have a lot to reply to. As well as some new developments. They may or may not change the situation. Once again, she let it all hang out today. Not that I'm complaining, but day 1 of training she didn't dress like this at all. Now the kicker was that today she put her hand WAY up on my upper thigh. She wants the D, y'all. Whether she wants a relationship or not, I could have her in my apartment tomorrow night if I wanted.

Ok now, I'll start responding to previous posts.

Even if she's the one calling the shots? I'm not engaging her at all within reason. Yeah I flirted day one, but it's not like I'm playing footsie under the desk.

What would change to make it not a no-no?

IDK how old you are Drewbie

Obviously. But with her copping feels, it's getting pretty hard to say no now.

Same department, not really the same job. She has a bit more responsibility than I do. She's a Lead Rep. I'm just a Rep.

She's a step up.

How long has she been there?
3 years.

Call Center of a bank. We wear jeans and collared shirts. I think there's only one person that isn't a manager over 30 in the entire building.

If things keep going the way they are, probably.

It doesn't matter if she is making the moves. You don't know much about HR. She can get you fired if she wanted to. It's so easy man. You worked hard to get here, don't frick it up.

Do it

What the hell, it sounds like she isn't going to get you in trouble

I'd worry more about awkwardness after than getting fired. If you can handle that, go ahead and screw
