Here's the deal. My trainer is FINE. F. I. N. E. Fine. Yesterday I started my "hands-on" training and we were working together all day. Got to know each other a bit, and it was clear we both had a flirtatious attitude towards each other. Knowing she'd be training me all day again today, she comes to work with this low cut top. I was...distracted. I still learned a lot, but we definitely could have been more productive. I've looked at her left hand for two days now to be doubly sure I'm not trying to taste a forbidden fruit, no ring. There's also been nothing in any of the training I've received in my first two weeks saying co-workers can't have relationships outside of the office, but I was wondering if there were any of you that have had experiences with co-workers in the past. Would it ultimately cause more harm? I'm looking to move up within this company and I want to keep that obtainable. Anyway, I've already rambled more than I wanted to. What are your opinions? Would this be a no-no?

Yeah...I mean she's only a trainer. She's basically a rep that's been there longer than me. But if things were to ever go south....could be weird. I doubt she could get me fired.

Well she's training another guy same as me, but hardly giving him the time of day, but yeah. I'm familiar with the game.

We'll need pics to provide an accurate answer. The less clothing the better.

How long have you been wanting to get up this way and work?

Think about that.....now think about trying to find another job or think about trying to pay rent because you hit on your trainer at a job you've had for two weeks.....she went straight to HR

Also, if you do decide to go against what I just posted, you put the ball in her court........

Example of small talk....."Man I really like it up here, I just wish I knew more people I could go have a few drinks with and knew some folks who could show me some chill spots."

Her answer to something similar to that will tell you all you need to know....this puts it all on her....she would be asking you to do something...she would be doing the HR "no no" per say.

Don't dip the pen in company ink. If you ever take an HR class in college, you'll understand why.

She wouldn't. I know for a fact she wants the D. She basically started the conversations on meeting outside of work today. I'm not asking because of the possibility of her turning me down. I'm asking because of the possibility of us not staying together long term. I wouldn't even consider it if I didn't already know for sure it's mutual. This job's too important.

Is she at your location all times, or does she travel about and train at all locations?

I need to dig up my old HR power points for this class I had. It'll make you never want to date anyone you work with

She's a lead rep at my office. Works my shift.

Meh. It's fall. I give her a pass. She's not pale, though.

Could she have enough pull to get you fired?
