Good job turning things around this season MA.

Hopefully Macon and Barford do the obvious and return. If so, this is a pretty stacked team next season. Possibility to equal our win total from this year prior to the end of the SECt.

26 wins is a good year no matter who you are. Hopefully we get UK at home next season.

I pledge to attend my first game at Bud Walton since 98-99 season! I was heading to Memphis If they would've pulled that game out today.

Meanwhile my 25 year season ticket holder uncle and 8 of his season ticket holder friends are not renewing their season tickets. He's like 15th row behind Ark bench at FT line.

He said this after the Mizzou and Vandy L's and then said Sweet 16 in NCAAT or gone.

He reiterated tonight he is not renewing.

Pissed me off but can't really say anything, literally hundreds of free tickets in all 3 sports from him esp when I was young.

Macon is gone. He was asked 3 times tonight about returning and each time his response was no comment.

Speaking of Macon did you guys see him sitting at half-court with his head down after the game?

He was having a little moment there and that's all good but the North Carolina Cheerleaders were doing a fricking kicking cheer like 10 feet away from him.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Daryl Macon, a junior from Little Rock, didn't want to talk about next season after the game.
Asked his thoughts on the program moving forward, Macon said, "No comment."
That prompted a follow-up question about whether he was planning to come back to Arkansas for his senior season and Macon said, "No comment."
Macon then was asked if might leave the program after this season?
"I never said that," he said. "Can we not ask that question? I don’t want to talk about that.
"We just lost a game and you’re going to ask me am I’m coming back? C’mon man. I don’t want to answer that question."

Like I said in another thread, every time we get close to breaking back through it seems that someone leaves early who probably shouldn't.

I don't think Macon is gone, asking a kid right after the game about the next season generally gets the similar type of responses.

He is probably pretty up in the air about it, and hopefully CMA will get him to return with some nice words of wi$dom.

I don't think Macon is talking about leaving for the NBA, but overseas.

Barford I could see doing that as he got on a lot of peoples radar late in the year enough to almost sneak into some mocks. Macon is still nowhere even near the draft but he is closer to leaving = overseas.

If we lose our best players to overseas instead of the draft, I'm seriously going to be pissed. I want to have nice things again dammit.

I mean surely they don't go....barford is not NBA caliber right now with his jump shot.

Macon I think has all the ability but he has to have some consistency to his games. He's got the ability to score 30 one night and 5 the next....I guess we'll see but if they come back we have a chance to have the best team we've had in 20 years

They'll find some way to make us play that game at Rupp. Happy that two SEC teams have advanced to the Sweet 16. When UK plays by the same rules, I'll be happy to include them in that group

I feel so bad for the boys. They played well enough to beat one of the best teams in the country and had it ripped away from them by an agenda. Pisses me off. I'm tired of being on the short end of this damn stick.

There's no reason for either guy to leave. Barford is closer to the NBA than Macon, but neither is an NBA player. Kingsley isn't an NBA player. Kingsley will get drafted in the second round if he is drafted at all. His rim protection is valuable to an NBA team, but he lacks every other skill that gets you significant minutes. Overseas will have to be ultra attractive for Macon or Barford to leave.

ETA: Moses is a Festus Ezeli caliber player.
