I figure there will be a segment of our fanbase that's gonna melt whether we win or lose today, so figured I would get the party started right.
The Fastest 40 is back and people who don't understand what makes Mike Anderson a great coach just don't understand the game of basketball.

Good. That means I get to get drunk early today.
ETA: My favorite beer store has a craft farmhouse ale on sale right now. 6 bucks for a sixer of a 9.2 craft beer.
I'm gonna get trashed most likely. And there will be altercations on this very board. Guaranteed.

I'm concerned about this game. LSU likes to get up and down the floor same as we do and they have a very good point guard in that Treymont Water kid.
Good news is he has been careless with the ball so far this year and has already been benched for it once.
This game will go as well as we can guard that guy. They also have great size inside. They'll have three dudes they rotate in on Gafford and like Florida showed the other night, all you gotta do to shut Gafford down is keep him double teamed.
That being said, I hope our guys play with a chip on their shoulder because this is definitely a must win game.

There is something more to this game that I can't quite understand. The line and metrics are mostly very close and in our favor.

I'd imagine more people will melt over Ben Hicks being on campus than a Razorback loss.
A loss today would most likely move everyone to 2-10 mode for basketball and just have everybody ready for baseball.

Well, Arkansas gets 10 points for being in Fayetteville, first off. That means if we were playing in Little Rock, for instance, LSU would be a 9 point favorite and they would be a 19 point favorite down in Loseriana.
Other than that, like I said, Treymont Water has already been benched for like 2 games this year for being careless with the ball. Their All American point guard has been in a slump.
The bad news is that I think being benched worked for him because lately he's been playing very well.
This will be an extremely tough game for us. I'm looking forward to a high scoring afair. Should be a fun one to watch.

That still doesn't really explain it to me, Waters has been picking it up lately as well. Seven or more assists in his last three games.

Well, if I were handicapping games I would probably consider intangibles in my equations. They're probably expecting the Hogs to bounce back after that shite-tastic performance against Florida the other night.
I've honestly never even seen a team shoot so poorly as we did the other night. Never. And I watch high school games on the reg.

After the comeback the other night and still losing, I doubt they have much in the tank for this game. I'd be surprised if we win today.

I expect they'll play well today. It's all about confidence with these guys at home right now. Hopefully they found it late in that Florida game and they can carry it over.

Isaiah Joe hits 7+ three pointers today. Book it.
