Point totals in every game against a Power 4 opponent to this point:

31 (Vandy)
10
23

One year ago:

Is it really better to lose 45-42 than lose 29-26?

It’s obvious to me that we spent all the budget on offense last year. This year appears to be more balanced but equally insufficient. It’s not an offense vs defense problem, it’s an athletic director problem.

I see only one win from that list.

That is the problem.

I agree bro.

We should have given Bobby P the reins with his choice of D Coordinator. More NIL would have come in with this...

But in stead we kept HY, hired the worst Mempho coach in years as our HC, and have a doofus at OC for sure. Terrible

Or the OC got worse and the DC got better.

3 guys off of last years offense made NFL’s 53 man roster. Mike Washington was the feature back for Las Vegas last week. I doubt anyone this year makes a roster. It’s a talent issue.

If only he had 7 games to prove his worth, several of them winnable, and didn't completely shite the bed by not making changes in the second half when other teams adapted to what we were doing.

Petrino wrecked the program once and came back to flush it a second time. frick him.

Hunter panic hired Silverfish, who clearly was not up to the job, when he should have scoured FCS and g7 coaches who have actually built up programs.

Hunter has spent more effort in finding his next job than he has ever spent filling a head coaching vacancy at Arkansas.

He hired Silverfield in October of last year.

There never was a coaching search, Franklin laughed at HYs pitch, he then went and hired Silverfield.

Everyone screwed up by not hiring Bob Chesney. Dudes got ucla 1st in the big 10. Why didn’t we kick that dang tire.

You mean Sam Pittman would still be the HC? He had to get fired first, which wouldn't have happened.

Yeah how dare him facilitate the only good thing about the last two teams only for that same aspect to completely fall off a cliff the moment he leaves.

We went from 23rd in total offense and averaging 33 ppg to currently 114th averaging under 20.

But please, do go on about how terrible he was.

He wasn't saying he sucks as an OC. He did lose seven out of seven games as the HC.

I think their argument that blown half time leads and one score losses didn't occur with his offense the past two years.

I believe they truly believe this.

Jeff Long did more damage with John L. Smith and Bert.

And anyone with a modicum of football sense knows this framing is retarded at worst and disingenuous at best.

I find it hard that anyone including Arkansas would have hired him as a head coach going 0-7 last year.

Looking past the the defensive woes and his high powered offense, no one can find a positive and sell it to fans without some level of blowback.

I would be fine if he stayed as OC.

It's no use. Bobby Derangement Syndrome is real.
